I started wow again after a long break… i spent hours looking for my 60 mage and 60 hunter but couldnt find it on any servers… not before days passed i found them on wotlk servers… im so sad with this my characcters are just stuck on expansions i wont be playing at all… i only wanted the classic experience not all these expansions again… reason why i made a classic character in th3 first place

I’d be interested in cloning my Firemaw Warrior. My mirage raceway Warrior is cloned but last time I logged in the server was completely dead, and it was on a dead cluster.

Because Blizzard has confirmed data is gone, so my best guess is you pulled that statement out of your butt.

I too missed the train and I too deeply regret it.
Might turn out to be a drop in the ocean, might be wishful thinking but yeah, having an era cloning service back would most likely be welcomed by many players willing to enjoy vanilla content on their “lost” chars.
Now, lets be honest. This “date does not exist anymore” argument is BS. All it takes is blizzard to understand they can monetize this service and tbt, I dont think I am the only one willing to pay for said service :p.

Good, you can pay for transfer.
Because my character that is now on wotlk has never logged in after classic wow. All the gear it has is from classic. The item IDs are the same. And they can confirm that this character is from classic cause last time it logged in was late 2020. How can the “data” be lost" LMAo???
Transfers from later expansions to vanilla are not possible.
Do you have any interest in Blizzard not opening this service? What do you stand for? It won’t do you any harm!
You missed the entire point. We don’t want to transfer wotlk characters. We want our classic characters back who were transferred to wotlk without our consent

Sadly you missed that the cloning service had a best before date, even if the cost is close to nothing it costs something to keep the data around if just to “keep the drives spinning” the data is gone as far as we all know seeing as Blizzard have told us it is gone.
We don’t want to “clone” or “copy” we just want our characters on classic servers as they were

They are exactly where they were, the era servers were new servers that were created and not the original once (its a technicality but still). So what you do want is a clone or a copy of what you had back then, and sadly that service had a cut off day.

I understand it very well. Clones were copies of characters before Burning Crusade Classic released. As we all know, that was long time ago.
