Return to Outland on 2 June in Burning Crusade Classic

The true downgrade was in middle/end Wotlk, and Cataclysm was the beggining of the crappy retail we know now… TBC was the peak of wow!

I mean that quote doesn’t say time to level to 60, if you’re going technical.

Can’t we do like a global online petition for at least one month of pre-patch? cause seriously… this makes 0 sense…

I think activision dosen’t know that the true WoW players are in classic right now… Almost all classic players quitted WoW on Cataclysm or Pandaria…

This is their last chance to make WoW great again, and it seems they have 0 interest in it… Sadge…

Do we get the mounts to the nowadays WoW without classic? Or do we need to play Classic to get access to them? Or will they appear in the Blizzstore?

Blizzard can smell money with the level 58 boost

negative cash flow confirmed

Yes but there are other races/classes you can boost :full_moon_with_face:

So many people crying over this decision and making demands, like Blizz would actually pay any attention…

not being able to get 60 in time/ take time off work etc… you will still reach 70 and with the amount of people levelling you wont exactly be on your own either…

I will skip this one, maybe if it was free with the current subscription like classic was I would give it a try but 40 USD for recycled content, no thanks.

It is free…

You do know there are more factors at play here right?

I was planning on leveling from 60 to 70 with a group of people that all wanted to get some time off from work but needed a decent amount of time beforehand to get time off. So the fact that the prepatch is 2 weeks makes it a rather difficult challenge on my end to get to 60 in time when working during the week, plus the entire idea of our group going at it together is not certain now anymore due to the very short window to release.

Besides this, I am in a guild that wants to raid asap, and I also want to do so, with a shaman. But now chances are they will have to wait for the people that are going shaman for raiding.

Not to mention that we were told there would be ample time to level our draenei and blood elves. 12 Days is not enough time when you work during the week!

How long is “a decent amount of time”? For some people almost 4 weeks is enough for that, for others 2 months wouldn’t be enough.

You will have 14 days. That is ample if you and your guild really want to get some shamans to 60 (or 58 at which you can start doing outland quests and dungeons) before TBC launch, even if you work full time. It is also 14 days more than people got to level them back in 2006/2007.

I am also pi…ed off, don’t get me wrong… but because of different reasons… not because I want to rush to Outland to “raid asap”

I get your viewpoint… personally i would just remove the rush to get to 70 - problem solved. Alot of the content will just be oneshot…

people don’t just work… they also have families… 12 or 14 days is definitely NOT enough to level from 1 to 58… unless mom regularly brings you doughnuts to the basement

No one saw any of this coming. Yes everyone knew TBC was coming and no one is saying they didn’t know it was coming, but no one expected such a short pre-patch or short notice for the actual date. It’s like phase 7 and a ton of people were looking forward to enjoying all the TBC class changes.

The issue is that once you get behind in TBC it’s very difficult to catch up since there is little to no reason returning to previous tiers of content. If you don’t keep up you might never catch up.

For some of those people 2 months wouldn’t be enough. Noone is forcing you to reroll, noone is forcing you to be level 60 before TBC release, noone is forcing you to play the game. If you don’t have the time or will to put in the time required for you to play the game the way you want to you are free to do as so many people have done in the past. Quit the game.

you still don’t get the fact that wow classic and wow tbc classic are not retail games… they are driven mainly by nostalgia, so the rush to open new content and force-lock you to a server does not make sense… and the pre-patch period is even less time than in the original TBC release… now come on and wake up
