These forums will explode with QQ and Bliz will be forced to usher in P3 (battlegrounds) prematurely.
(The insinuation that Rogues are overpowdered is ridiculous following the “World Of Roguecraft” series of PvP nerfs in Vanilla).

And what about Mage, full CC, permaslow, infinite sheep & reset combat ?
And what about Shaman, tri-shoot everyone with 3 spell, can heal, morph and run while i’m permaslow, full totems, purge my shield and buffs ?
And what about Paladin, 3 life (normal hp bar, lay of hands, bubble + heal), bubble + hearthstone to left a fight, self dispell everything so he can’t be slow and stay to melee range forever ?
And what about Priest, infinite silence, healing, dot that hurt like a truck, manaburn, dispell all the things, shield so i got no rage ?
And what about Hunter, pet that pushback my cast, manaburn like a priest, trap me, aimshot that oneshoot me when crit, run and do damage with instant shoot and no cast, can kitte me to africa ?
And what about Warlock, infinite fear, zillion of different pet that is all broken, dot and wait for instant shadowbolt, tank more than a Protection Warrior, healthstone, soul stone so he rez himself ?
And what about Warrior, recklessness and tri-shoot a group of people with sweeping strike, 6K HP with blue gear wtf, mortal strike so i can’t heal myself ?
And what about Druid, dot & run so i can’t land any spell, i die from thorn and dot, stay in bear and tank like a fully geared pve prot warrior, heal, can do everything and stealth so i can never kill him ?

rogues are not the top dogs in any way in 1.12, sorry, especially once people start getting gear. Yes you’re a beast in 1v1 if you know how to play, but that’s literally all you’re good at.
Mage is a beast in 1v1, group pvp, aoe, has very very few counters and is way better for farming, leveling, yada yada…

No. Rogues are bloody overpowered if you know how to play them even a bit. You’re a delusional player who likely sucks and cannot utilize the class to its easy-full potential.

The guy is right, Rogue is probably the best class at world PvP, not because it’s particularly good at combat proper, but because Stealth gives it the element of surprise and the option to pick its fights.

Mage is good on paper, but it’s probably the class that has to exert itself the most to kill mobs out on the map. So in practice as a mage you’ll most of the times find yourself at 70% hp and 40% mana, with many of your abilities like Nova, Barrier, Blink on constantly on cooldown.
Warriors are even worse in this regards, but Hunters and Warlocks are the opposite of that and it’s one of the reasons why they are deceptively strong at world PvP.

A level 17 says to a level 60 rogue in T1 gear that he sucks and cannot utilize the class to its full potential.

Oh-ho man, you guys are going to have a nasty shock when P2 rolls around.
You think Rogues are bad? Just wait until all the thousands of fully geared Frost Mages start combing levelling zones for easy honour.
Or you get plinked to death by a Hunter.
Or melted by a Shadow Priest as you frantically try to break through his shield.
Or maybe you’ll get 2-shotted by an Enhancement Shaman who got a good Windfury proc.
Or, if you’re really unlucky, run into a Warrior and his pocket healer.
God this thread has got me hyped for P2.

Oh I don’t fear them, nothing a FAP can’t solve.
I’m just pointing out that Rogues will be the least of their worries when P2 rolls around because we have masses of Frost Mages thanks to spellcleaving.
