The game is based on patch 1.12. Being that early on there was bound to be some serious balance issues.
Dominates while no one has gear. It’s you people that spoiled this game not the rogues.
I’ve never played a rogue btw.

Rogues are only OP in world pvp.

By the way, don’t you know, how to dismount opponent for shadow priests? This class is amazing, but if my enemy didn’t want to fight, he could simple run away.
Rogues are like “easy-mode” characters in fighting games. Easy to pick up for anybody and easy to dominate other “not so good” players … Like Eddie in Tekken.
This was especially true 15 years ago when a high “lowest level” was enought.
Now, 15 years later, people have learned to master other classes better, and their “highest level” reaches higher than many Rogues. Thats the same reason Eddie isnt picked in Tournaments.
Rogues are lucky tho, we can always stealth away.

I wouldn’t say they’re easy mode, that title goes to Mages IMO.
I’d say they’re middle of the pack, most of their strength comes from the ability to choose their fights and make people panic (even the stealth sound alone is enough to make someone pop a potion and get ready for a fight).
Warrior? The class that literally can’t beat anyone in a 1v1 duel unless the other player don’t know what to do? The class that gets murdered almost immediately everytime the healer has to heal someone else for a few seconds in battlegrounds? The class that can be kited around for infinite amount of time because we have no mobility inside of combat?
Warrior would dominate in PvP if the other players would go AFK, but there is a chance that if the cat of a player would start to walk on the keyboard, it would beat us.

Yea rogues in 1v1 situations can kill everyone but at lower levels they pretty much suck and can;t even even bring a target to 40%hp . At higher levels mages are a pretty good opponent i dare say pretty much the best . Also warrirors are pretty good and hunters can give you a headache if they target you first . But if a good rogue innitiates the fight you are 8/10 times dead . maybe 9 .
