Warrior is not that good in 1vs1 situations.
Absolute imbalance is absolute balance.

Considering the topic in this thread is mostly 1v1 situations, i am not sure who is the idiot here.
The guy you initially quoted was talking about solo pvp, everyone here are talking about solo pvp, you were the one saying warriors are dominating, in a thread talking about 1v1, which they do not dominate at all.
Organized pvp, yes definatly they are awesome, but if you are going to yell at people, at least read the thread, or you just end up looking like a idiot.

Well rogues are just op in dueling scenariors and only when have all cds up. In general many rogues will stunlock somebody to death if they have all cds.
In bgs and group combat they dont offer anything special. Other classes like mages or hunter are way more needed in group pvp.

I think it’s widely accepted by anybody who hasn’t just been ganked by a rogue in the last 5 minutes that shadow priests are the crowned champions of pvp in late vanilla. With the exception of mana burn, they have no equal to them. Frost mages closed the gap to rogues an awful lot by 1.12, perhaps even surpassing in general pvp effectiveness.
However nothing will ever beat a warrior being followed by a great holy paladin…that just wrecks face in bgs 
Oh gosh, classes have different strengths and weaknesses that allows them to shine at different aspects of the game…
How horrendous! They should delete all classes and make us all the exact same!

Good thing about classic is that is not “balanced”. Also rogue is best ganker class not pvp class.

Back in the days it was more about what was fun rather than what was strong
in fact in most games i played my friends hated overpowered classes because they were so boring
Playing rogue main 15 years since early start of game. I don’t like the topic but thought to give my 2 bits. Sure many swear in pvp realms but that’s the way it is when you roll on a pvp server. You can try normal or RP if you don’t have the time or patience to stay on a pvp realm.
For warrior talks here I remember some tauren warrior (won’t tell names) in the bg’s with thunderfury on hand. No rogue went near him to even try. He was targetting first the rogues. As for clothies warlock was mostly the challenge. Magey’s and priest wayyyyy easier. And I always nuked the hunters. When I erased the distance they were dead.
Any more stories I would be happy to chit chat.
My advice to anyone is take the time and learn your class. Then and only then you will be able to pick fights and have a pleasant time.
As for classic wow. It’s not for everyone. Only the ones that devote the time to work hard will see their hard work producing results. If you are not thinking that, just stay on retail. No need to trouble yourselves, or spend the time of others who feel something else.
Stay safe in your lives and be well. Enjoy the game. No need to nag around endlessly. You can be a happier person than that. Seen my fair share of drama queens, loot freaks and their whole kind around all these years. You don’t need that. After heavy raiding with 40mans (Naxx 60 raider here), rated bg’s, crazy reps, guild effort crafting, etc I have seen it all.
P.S. You will find me in Hydraxian classic server mainly trying to establish my Midnight guild for those who can’t play early due to real life stuff (people with families, kids etc). And don’t tell me about late hours. I work too in the morning but because I enjoy wow as others I sleep less to be able to play. Bye for now. See you online.

Boys, we knew all of this already, hunters win if they start the battle at range, rogues get their opener off and it’s gg, mages can deadzone people and lots of other OP ****, Shadow priests and Warlocks dot you into oblivion, warriors in melee range are ultra deadly, shamans can chain lighting one tap people and pala’s bubble hearth out so winning isn’t something you’ll do… It’s the Classic way. It has pro’s and con’s, but that’s always gonna be the case.

Maybe it is unbalanced but tbh all classes are like that, the only thing good in this situation is that you’re able to create your own way to play it.
I disagree. Looking at myself I am not actually that good at PvP, I manage ok. But in BG’s with my stealth and CC I am at my best. Screwing up WSG flag carriers, returning flags. Sneak up to and capturing nodes in AB. Moving behind enemy lines and capture towers and graveyards in AV (before it was a rush feast). BG’s are so much more than just collecting kills.
