I very much agree. It’s a shame that a lot of the more realistic designs are usually classic items as well that do have fairly outdated textures on them.
Also thank you very much for the bday wishes and the inspiring post. Quite right on that ^^

True words there. Seen many come and go in all the years I’ve played wow, still get to meet new people though here and there even if a lot of chars are alts of existing players.
Added your suggestions to the list as well btw. ^^
The armor type restriction feels rather weird anyway because plate could always wear but not mog all classes, whilst cloth can’t really do anything else being the most restricted by far.
Customization overall is what makes rpgs so much fun, if its your characters race, details you add during creation, clothing and weapons, etc.
The more the merrier.
Still a huuuge fan of the prism idea cause I’d love to have more fun with it.
Nightborne tattoos need colour changes so they can be truly visible. A toggle to make them matte.
Hoping some of the small stuff can make it into 9.1.5…
Wait between patches is usually so long
There should still be time, I imagine the ptr will last for a while and adjust based on feedback till it actually goes live.
Would be useful to know if there are any plans for any of that from the developers side, or if its even being considered.
I am going to refer to one of the earlier posts where someone said small changes with huge impact.
That’s the kind of things you’d want cause it has a more immediate effect.
A bunch of those suggestions do seem like they could be hugely positive without to much work having to be invested.
Win/Win right?
Win/Win all around. More stuff, more fun.
Shame there’s no transparency slider on them cause you could set yourself how visible you’d like things like scars or tattoos.
I made a thread on the PTR forums asking for colours, including the current. Made more sense.
More tattoo colors would be nice too for sure.
You reckon it would be hard to get a color slider working?
It’s more a matter of hard vs likely.
It’s not likely to happen in this expansion at least, as they’d have to do it across the board.
Yeah that would need a bunch more work to make it in.
Character creation seems to work based on a number of preset options so changing that to something more fluid like sliders probably needs a lot of restructuring.
More color options across the board would be nice.
Glad they add that in terms of some extra ones for the elven allied races, but I’d like that variety for others too really.
Hopefully there will be some neat stuff for the other allied races down the line, vulpera included…
I wonder though, what about adding some hairfluff/scruff?
Another thing I heard suggested was adding more jewelry options including tailrings.
They said after HB and Lightforged that Highmountain was up next so im sure the others will eventually be looked at as well.
All in due time hopefully… new customization options are good to have to let you visualize more diverse characters for rp, but I still wish some of the other things find their way ingame as suggested in the first post.
I wonder if theres any chance we would actually get to see new allied races.
But considering the focus on giving existing ones an overhaul in terms of options it doesn’t seem likely.
Allied races are always a huge highlight, both for casual players and the rp crowd cause it gives you a lot of new stuff to play with in terms of customization and lore, whatever takes your fancy.
