Being able to just use all the different casting animations and potentially loop them would be nice.
The spell effects would be cherry on top.
This is very in line with all the functionality narcissus gives you for being able to easily find the animations and pause at frames to take the perfect picture of something.
I don’t imagine it being that hard to let you use a certain animation like that via chat/emote input for example.
Would add to the immersion though I reckon.
I guess my biggest gripe is that WoW in many forms, both for your character but also it’s world, doesn’t reflect the state we know it’s in.
I get reworking everything over and over would be super time consuming but it’s kind of a bummer when you read about things being a bit more multi cultural in terms of trade and interaction with currently unplayable races, when gadgetzan spans most of tanaris and has become a huge metropolis, when you read about the reclamation of lordaeron and how new settlements are forming…
Meanwhile what we see is the same old with conflicts that have long ended and landscapes that haven’t changed at all since cata or even before that.
It’s not just the land but also characters that suffer from it, cause things are set up in a way that you do your thing and get a cinematic at the end or something that indicates that from now onward things are different, but then you don’t get to explore most if any of it cause it cuts you off right there and then wonder why a character does a U-Turn.
Worldbuilding has suffered from not letting things play out more openly and letting players witness what happens after they slap the big bad or help factions out.
But thats how its been for a good while… could all be done using phasing in theory and i bet people would argue that it would split the playerbase but let’s be honest… when was the last time you saw other people quest in old zones and actually grouped up or worked alongside each other?..
As there’s no elite quests anymore or particularly difficult bits of a zone, pretty much noone does it.
Yo thats a fun one. Theres a bunch of variations of existing sets and a fair few exclusive pieces which are sadly npc only.
But going through the actual models there’s not really pieces but kinda part of the model itself so you cant separate them…
Some of them look really damn good though.
Cloth usually suffers from having tons of robes but not that much variety if you just want a vest, but theres a buncha neat short versions of existing mogs that only npcs got.
Would love to get my hands on those for example cause mogging cloth is such a pain
More vest versions would be nice. It’s just extra limiting cause unlike most other classes you don’t get to nab a leather chest or something else and make it part of your mog despite normally wearing mail or plate.
There’s the thing of letting you mog any armor class but people are torn on whether or not that would be a good change, personally yes but i can also see why people say no.
I feel ya on that one.
Its a pain when you seem to have everything just about right but there’s just a piece or two off and you got no way to fix it in a way that you like.
Im still with the whole thing of adding easier prisms, that way you could at least use some guard or townspeople armor and other things where fitting.
I’ve tried sending mails 2-3 times before and used the ingame feedback function as well but never got a reply or anything to either.
Don’t really use social media all that much myself and tried re-linking the thread itself in some others that had blue-posts but didnt have any luck there either…
I really want to, and will keep this thread going for a while longer but it can be pretty disheartening ngl.
I’d greatly appreciate help from anyone who’d be kind enough to forward the thread or ideas within to people, if that’s via social media (twitter) or roleplay groups that have people interested in joining the discussion, anything helps. :3
Not a social media person at all really but bumping this. Anything helps.
More exposure could make for a healthier discussion and ensure the good word gets out.
