Hopefully so. Cheers anyway ^^
Yeah, hope it gets a blue post or more people notice one way or another.
Stuff like this would get me to come back, but as is I’m just feeling burned out and unwell about the state of it all.
Wouldn’t making a hight slider require absolute minimum effort tho?
We already have ingame potions/items that make you both bigger and smaller and as far as I’ve seen there are 0 issues with armor size scaling wheather you use the world shrinker or gnome oil(or whatever it’s called).
Blizzard just can’t be bothered to make flexible customization options, everything has to be a preset …
Perhaps, I’m not sure how easy or hard a slider is to implement considering its all presets, for things like eye color as well which varies greatly per race in terms of options.
Would be nicer with but, not sure how feasable honestly.
Sliders would be the solution you won’t have to revisit later cause it would let you do things more freely but time could be an issue.
If you only got a couple people working on trying to cater to as many players as possible you stick to what you got and make the best of it.
Otherwise you end up with spending months or longer on new code and risk neglecting other things.
I appreciate that big list up there a lot cause its got some ideas that can be implemented in what I feel could be hours if its simply changing some item descriptions/effects for example for a lot of quality of life improvements.
I dont rp but for the rps yes add it all why not.
I always thought it would be nice to have a leather bound book, blank as an in game item, then the player can write what they want in it, then can give it to anyone.
So could be stories, custom quests, secret notes, ledgers, spell book, book of the dead, could be edited by who ever has it like a living story book etc etc
Also for non rpers for custom treasure hunts and guild fun stuff.
Oh that is a great idea, I’ll add that one.
Sometimes people use the ingame mail system for notes like that but having the option to just write something on a letter or in a book to write your own or a diary ingame would be pretty cool.
That’s a good idea yeah. Thanks for adding to it ^^
Followed your suggestion and gave it a shot, so hopefully it gets noticed somehow.
Fingers crossed.

Anyone know any other places or people worth trying to message?
May as well give that a shot too while at it I guess.
Personally not aware of much, especially if its rp centric to begin with. But any place or person covering wow who may be able to lend a hand helps.
Thanks in advance.
The longer the thread stays up the more likely someone will notice perhaps, who knows.
Having more furniture and ingame items to interact with overall would be nice.
There’s a good variety of things that enrich rp a lot, such as the anglers fishing raft, the island expedition surfboard, and a couple others come to mind that offer some unique functionality.
A good few are locked behind a grind though.
Would be nice to have more items like these, again feeding into the props idea, but extending it a little.
Ive had an idea in my head for a long while now that im gonna share. I havent seen anyone else suggest it so here goes:
When i play my warrior i always have my helmet shown as off, mostly because of the fact that all ure character customization is in the head(face) so i always want to have it off. However, i feel like there should be an option where your helmet is shown while in combat because it feels like it would make sense to take off your helmet while not fighting and having it on while fighting.
This could be an animation of ure character puting the helmet on but il be happy if it just vanished and appeared. It would be a cool combat indicator aswell!
Turned on/off in the options menu.
Just a thought!
That’s a good one.
Showing the helmet being a automatic toggle would be kinda nice for being in/out of combat.
Reminds me of how easy it is to show and hide helmet and shoulders in gw2 as there you have a small tickbox next to the item in your character screen which lets you quickly swap.
Would be a nice QoL change if you had similar options for sure.
Usually work around this by always carrying a couple extra items in a bag, one for a hidden helmet and hidden shoulders so you can simply switch gear during rp if you were to take your helmet and pads off IC, but being able to switch it like that or having combat toggles would be neater.
Anything counts. The more the merrier, plus that’s a good one.
Didn’t even think about that, that would be cool for sure.
Similarly you could play a librarian, songwriter/poet, newspaper person and whatever else in a lot more fun ways.
Oh for sure. Could write your own books and try to sell them IC’ly and all sorts.
Would love to see this get a bit more support for sure.
Being able to more freely influence the lighting/time of day and weather in zones would be nice similar to inky black.
Would be super immersive to actually have it light- or heavy rain, have fog or a snowstorm to support your narrative during events.
Don’t see any downsides either cause inky black is for your char and not a zonewide override for everyone and these could function the same way.
