I want to add that, during WotLK, Blizzard added the automatic group finder for 5man dungeons, and later in Cataclysm for raids too. While it seemed like a godsend for damage dealers, it turned out to not be enough even though it offered immediate and free transport to the instance and back at a time where it would take tens of minutes to do that without a warlock/mage: it subsequently received an additional boost in the form of massive Call-to-Arms bonuses for players who queue solo for the roles in demand, and in the case of 5man dungeon a boost of up to 15% in hp, damage and healing based on if you joined solo or in a premade. Bonuses that even today are sought after enough to entice thousands of players to queue for random normal and heroics instances just for the satchels.

Essentially, the tool itself did not solve the problem of damage dealers waiting in queue, to the point where it enhanced and rewarded the antisocial aspect of playing the game by bribing players who queue solo and not in a group for the roles in demand.

My concern is that an automatic matchmaking tool for M+ will have the same bonuses/bribes attached to it, exactly because as others have correctly pointed you cannot create non-AI tanks and healers out of thin air.

Because i need to look at logs about holy priest.
So i shut that down.

For mistweaver we have easy 4 buffs/procs for vivify. Like the instant one after rising sun kick (was the 10 second internal proc but reworked this season), Chi Harmony, Envelop mist, Save them all-talent. And probably more.

You didn’t shut anything down.

You’re claiming there’s a power creep and then point to outliers instead of the averages.

Yes. So you keep talking about holy priest, but that spec seems to be the outlier. So i stop talking about that spec. You need to start talking about averages. There is powercreep in the buffs and procs and stars align for the other healers. Stop talking about your outlier.

I gave already a very small summary for vivify.

Healing surge has; undulation, tidal wave, master of the elements, ancestral swiftness.

You’re the one bringing up outliers. Not me.

It most certainly isn’t the norm to just pump healing out in the closer to 10 millions.

I think nothing will change even with a dungeon finder for m+.

people will use it to get as far as they can reach the highest item level and key range they can.

the really good players who push keys even after they are fully geared? done their 10’s? will still make their own unique groups to push keys even further.

But it for sure is closer or around 5M instead of 1M.

It’s like I would say moonkins are insanely overpowered because I get 6 million starfire crits once in a while, yet they’re bottom tier in ST.

When the average hit of healing surge on my resto shaman is 4M i think it is closer to 5M than 1M. But you do you.

Are you completely unware of what your mastery does?

Completely irrelevant? Yes it is.

No, you have 98% mastery. That’s an insane amount of increase to the healing output.

So, when someone is low on hp, you are almost getting a 100% boost to your healing.

But you know you can build your priest also like you only need to heal 1 player but heal 2 at the same time.
