And if there were no tokens then the boosting would immediately stop?
People who want to buy a boost would simply find other…sources.
Either to grind it or worse case scenario…use illegitimate websites to get some gold.
So the only difference would be in boosting prices. Since I noticed that many adds are pretty much selling 1-2 boosts = 1 token price. So if token got removed. The price would be more versatile…that’s it.
Like many other people said. If there is a demand. There will be a supply. And if you want to buy that boost. You will find the gold…one way or another.

Irony = Demanding hugely inflated gold prices for a booming boosting services industry… then complaining about the number of utter scrubs, in high ilvl gear, with achievements and Mythic+ keys.
Yet boosts were a thing waaaaay before wow tokens were introduced.

Separating TRADE into two default channels, one for GOODS and one for SERVICES is the best and most acceptable solution that requires no additional work hours, programming and moderation, so why are most of the trolls here taking issue with it? Demand and supply will not be curbed by prohibiting use altogether, it will still exist regardless of what you do to enforce a ban on advertising.
Now if the overwhelming majority of players decide to simply leave the new SERVICES/boosting channel because they don’t support it, it speaks louder than any public discussion or a voting poll ever will. By that logic, it also supports the claim how everyone is tired and annoyed by the constant spam five users are terrorizing thousands of players with.

ok, we are assuming boosts are good and make money for everyone, but in gameplay, you run mythic +15 or +20. then you got a person with item lvl 425 and Rio 2k oh nice. Then, it turns out the person is a booster in the party and he does not know what is he doing and mess up your key. the same thing happened in raid and PvP. Everybody know he is booster is realm. then he change his name problem solved and he is going to the same thing again again again
Yeah there was boosting in the past but it’s just gone waaaaay to far now. There’s a difference between a couple of boosts here and there but now it’s all the game consists of. You know it’s gone too far when there’s entire discord groups and guilds which are created specifically for boosting. It’s just gone too far.
