People very much do care. It is a VERY hefty portion of the server that cares one way or the other, in a negative or positive fashion. That is literally why this thread exists unless you’ve forgotten the thread you’re on.
Not everyone is accepted, for exactly those reasons. The relationships is a different story, yes, and one that’s not the focus of this thread.
Poor phrasing. I don’t stand for self-inserts, but with sexuality it can be an opportunity for someone to express themselves when they otherwise can’t. Obviously there can be a hefty difference between a gay player and their gay character - the sexuality might be the only common ground they share.

Real life in their ingame charactor but you are RPing relationships. Sound like you want to play yourself ingame and have relationships with anyone. WoW is not a dating service. No one runs around the game wearing their sexual orientation as a badge. It not normal behaviour for anyone, no matter what sexual orientation they feel they have.
People just play orc, elves and humans. They raid and follow the game lore for their charactor when they RP.
Except the people who put it in their RP addons.
