People in the better Covenant will always be that Covenant amount ahead of you because outside of Covenants you all have access to same gear and Talents.
You can’t out-box yourself from making the wrong choice when the only difference is that wrong choice.
No “mate” you are the one failling to understand and lack the imagination of how these thing would ruin the game for the majority of player, go back to wiping on lfr nzoth and keep telling yourself that you dont need the corect talents , essenses and corruptions because they are only 1% for the world 1st. Clearly you lack the skill and the knoledge to say something of value.
This is not how it works. This is you assuming or using hyperbole based on your fears. You don’t KNOW how it works. Wait for alpha to start and THEN you can talk about this part.
So they’re not always going to be the best. THAT’S PURE HYPERBOLE.
Sometimes Covenant A will be the best, and in another instance Covenant B will be the best. It doesn’t matter.
And how much more dmg do you think this will be?
The amounts of % we are talking about here are truly low. And if they’re not, it WILL be nerfed. And IF Blizzard keeps their word, like they said in the alpha announcement, they WILL test more and longer and better. So with any luck such unbalance WILL be ironed out before the expansion launches.
And once the difference is a small, small percentage; anyone still bothered by that is just being anal and needs to lighten up.
What he means is that there are clearly abilities made for pvp/m+/raid. there probably won’t be a signle best option fo every content, but there are already abilities better suited for specific content.

How come what ability you choose doesn’t matter but choosing that ability is an important choice?
it’s not important it’s restrictive.
Situational best ? Sure, just like how IS is broken on long boss fights with no adds but is completely irrelevant once the boss start spawning a few adds
Now if you take into covenant abilities, covenants talent trees, legendaries, class changes and the socketable conduits I doubt it’ll be nearly as easy as it was in 8.3 with corruption.
