Its a forced content.
Not only campaign that locks behind your covenant but also legendarys.
I would have no problem if it was like mage tower in legion.
No forced Just cosmetics content.
Having to do every week the same boring layers again and again and on top of that 2 more unlock, Just for time waste is Nah.
I have a bad feeling that this expansion will follow the same steps like Bfa with more and more forced content in the future patches.
If my predictions happen we will have Bfa 8.2.5 again Where players start to unsub and leave.
Some hate it and others dont. I love it , only rewards are bit crappy imo but oh well…
i think it would be much better if there was for example 2 floors of trash and 1 floor - boss - corridors being much shorter but trash being 10 times more deadly then its now.
because atm its just boring slow kiling of trash while they barerly tickle you even on L5-6.
i wont lie - i was expecting L4-6 having much harder difficulty - yet all of them feel exacly like L3 just with mobs having more health and this slowing you down .
as a fully paid up me,ber of the not very good club and being old and slow I hate this thing plese do something else blizzard
Because the rest of the game is run for what exactly ?!
dont like it dont go to it, simple
But it is sort of forced, only source of ash to craft the legendaries.
I don’t enjoy every aspect of this game either but thats not a reason for them to go.
For Torghast itself I find it pretty fun and I really want the endless one to come out with a leaderboard so those of us that likes to compete and push ourself can do that. Torghast will also be faster and faster as we gear up.
Horrifics Visions truly sucked though.
Imagine the massive river of tears on the forums if you paid an entry fee to Torghast to ne able to get your legendary.
People enjoyed BFA, so what is your point? Maybe focus as OP said on content that is actually fun and stop making stuff mandatory due to ego/unwillingness to see it fail. Personally can not wait for them to brag about the participation numbers for torghast when everyone is essentially forced to do it.
Not an option for mandatory content, and you know it.
you can get soul ash from your command table. if you leveld them.
Remember vanilla drops? i do, 2 items drops for a 40man raid.
And having to run the same dungeon like 40 times to get that one item?
yes. the shammy drop for alliance. but with TBC they changed mood.
But the game is changed… the audience is changed… we are changed.
It wouldnt be possible now.
well i enjoyed them . at least the “progress phase” of visions once you were unlocking powers.
maybe they should add such element for thorgast - for example for each layer unlocked you start runs with addidtional Anima powers
for example for L3 - 3 powers on start not one - For 8 - 8 powers and so on .
yes - it was absolute garbage design already back then .
still much better then other mmorpgs of that time - which either didnt offer you any raids - or “raid” meant killing world bosses / strong world npcs with loot literaly falling from boss on the ground and milion of vultures desperately clicking on them to ninja them .
I like torgast.
My only issue is so far lack of loot
It sucked something fiercely for alts too. You knew if you just had the stupid unlocks you would be able to utterly destroy a full run, but nah. You had to grind out the unlocks before.
You had already seen how easy and dumb they were by that time and were restricted from doing it on your alts.
On top of the currency to join them to gate you from even playing them, or trying out new stuff in them.
It’s really boring, 99% of the powers are terrible and a few insanely op and if you don’t get the few that are op the run takes twice as long.
Their is no random, it feels the same every time. The trash mobs will spawn on the other side of the room and that’s it. Solo clearing trash for an hour+ is in no way fun and you “need” to do it if you don’t want to fall behind in power i.e legendaries.
I would much rather they just drop from hard content but a bit less rng than legion, then torgast could just be a side thing for solo players/bored players with no legendaries attatched to it.
It boggels the mind how people can find TORGHAST fun yet people loathed island expiditions they are basicly the same thing, time spent killing random mobs collecting a currency to finish with a reward of another currency.
Of course Torghast doesnt not reward you with anything if you fail so do people really find the prospect of failing so appealing?
Please someone explain to me how the tower is any differnt.
