Silent Majority Want Classic Servers to Stay

Hi

There are rumours of TBC Coming out. Why stop there maybe WOTLK after. Alot of people liked it … even Panda land after that… why not?

Regardless of what happens next there is a silent majority who are not saying alot and want classic to stay. These arent the people on twitch who are bored of streaming wow classic…These arent the raiders who are bored as thats all they want to do… There is another type of playerbase that just enjoy the pace of classic. The grouping with small friends to do this dungeon or that dungeon. To work at there own pace.

I can not believe for a moment that blizzard, after all the lawsuits against private servers and constantly shutting them down then agreeing with the private server community to make classic, will just scrap classic.

Will tell you now that if this does happen… you will see a huge exodus in wow back to vanilla. Some people just love to play classic, which is the same type of people that love Old School Runescape. Maybe we want to create 10 alts and max them all up. Then goto pvp servers and do the same.

IF TBC comes out make it seperate. Dont overwrite classic. The moment TBC is announced (IF IT IS) and blizzard announce its overwriting classic you will just see a huge dip in population. People that like to play at a slower pace like to see there achievements bit by bit. They keep paying the sub price for this. If I know that in 4 months TBC is coming out and classic is getting overwritten then i wouldnt bother even trying now. Thats the player base TBC will effect.

Im not against TBC but i am against getting rid of classic.

I do not think the majority want to stay on classic but I do think you will have a small playerbase who will.

they should keep small number servers depending on population open to classic for those who wish to stay and keep a classic community but the vast majority do want tbc or wrath or are on classic while waiting for the next retail expansion.

Me personally I’m excited for tbc is a much better version of the game classic is not the best it’s my opinion just same as wrath will be for others

No. Thats not what i’m saying

If they are silent how can you know what they want?

I can claim they want anything but I won’t make my opinion theirs.

this just in, silent majority just farted. you didn’t hear it because it was silent. you didn’t know about it but we sure did because we hear silently.

Out of curiosity how would you know what the silent majority want?

The silent majority just decided that I am the most awesome guy ever.

Can it be confirmed?
No, you’ll just have to take my word for it!

On a more serious note, i’m pretty sure Classic is here to stay, if that means Classic + / Fresh servers / Naxx forever, I have no idea, but at the very least it’ll remain as a museum piece.

Many scenarios could happen for the TBC launch, yes it will happen, but how about waiting until they announce what’s going to happen before complaining, OP?

My guess for it? All realms upgraded to TBC and new Classic realms opening from phase 1. No transfers.

IMO Blizz will allow us to progress into TBC and still keep Classic versions copies of our chars. I’d also add a fresh start server here and there. That’s the most hassle-and-drama-free option. Quite frankly it’s the only option that makes sense.

and we’re back to theorycrafting how something will release that we don’t know if it will even release… it was fun while it lasted

If they’re silent, how do you know what they want?

I believe that people who claims majority this and majority that without any proofs should be banned from forums at least like 3 days as warning for spreading fake news.

On topic - it is obvious that there are some people who like vanila more than TBC and Blizzards knows about it, so there is nothing new. Personaly I prefer TBC even if it has it flaws, Wotlk I’m not sure…

Silent majority!? Come on man, you can troll better than that.

Ah, the silent majority trick.

Nobody can know for sure, but from my observations on this forum as well as my guild, realm and mage discords, rather large majority is looking forward to TBC, with some portion of those also wanting to “keep” their classic character at level 60 in some form or another, and very small minority showing no interest in TBC at all.
