Don’t know how it was back then and as people said it could be realm/batlegrup think.
There are a lot of reasons but mainly the way the bg is played is completely different between Horde and Alliance. Horde defends and don’t give anything for free. Alliance usually gives SH and SF for free and doesn’t defend. Horde strategy is the winning one.
Horde wins because they have hour long queues. Thats litteraly it.
Of course. And that’s exactly what I said so many times. If you win fights consistently, you gonna win the game, even if there are some map disadvantages.
Though if 40 players push a gy, their gys are undefended. A group of stealthers could easily capture them. I’ve done that with SH gy, when Allies fight at some distance from the flag.
Don’t know, it was 1.12 and everything was ending. Perhaps there were some other purely 2006 factors. Maybe Alliance had a better raid progression and a better gear in average.
Blizz favours horde sadly… I really wish they would implement some heavy precautions for people afk leeching honor
To be honest, the current Classic AV is growing on me.
The 7 minute zerg-rush meta we had back in December could not be described as PvP or gameplay.
On the other side, having several day long AV games like we had in early Vanilla would not be sustainable in the long run. People would’ve said “cool” in the first few weeks, but the novelty will have quickly worn off and we would have people on these forums begging Blizzard for a later AV patch.
30-90 minute games should be the norm.
EDIT: just want to chip in and say that anyone who played Vanilla would remember that Alliance had long AV queues and were winning most games.
In Classic, the role is reversed, Horde have the queues and are winning most games.
Put 2 + 2 together. It’s not coincidence.
