And what is your point? Are you saying that AV was rigged in Alliance favor in Cata and MoP? Maybe it is , i never said that it isn’t, even in TBC. But there is a difference… it was way more subtle then this abomination of Classic AV…and NO, Horde had more chance wining in AV, much more, then Alliance in Classic, in any WoW iteration.
Motive from Blizzard is quite obvious, in the nutshell Horde needs compensation for lost time in queue…
Not at all.
I’m saying that the map layout is intentionally rigged so that at start it’s easy to push alliance to their chokes/defensible positions.
While the Alliance has a more fortress like layout in the end and the intention was to have a see-saw kind of experience where if you can fend of the zerg it’s then easier to push the other direction.
So it’s rigged both ways except differently. I’m not even saying that it’s balanced well just that I always thought the loopsided layout is by design and not an accident. While I see some people consider it a mirror while it was never intended to be one completely?
The cave was moved in 2.4.0, the last patch of TBC.
You’re probably right, after all (RP wise) Horde is invading the Alterac Mountains so it makes sense they have the initiative in the battlefield while Alliance’s duty is to defend it. But it makes no sense when the Alliance objective is also an offensive one
1 year later people still dont realise alliance loses on purpose because of muh honor per hour
