[SoD] Restricted from trading, AH, mail

In this case, WoW developers are improving Season of Discovery systems. The account may be restricted due to the update.

Please check if you are able to trade/mail/ auction 30 days after purchasing game time.

Since it is not something Game Masters can assist with, we suggest submitting your feedback through WoW community forum or through in-game “Submit Feedback” option, so the developers can review your report and improve WoW experience. To do so:

  1. Press the Esc key to open the Game Menu, and click Support.
  2. Click Submit feedback or bug report.
  3. Click Submit a suggestion.
  4. Follow the guidelines on the submission form, and enter your suggestion.
  5. Click Submit.

So i got finally reply from human . And isn’t this answer rediculous ? I have to wait a month to try use Ah and mail ? and What is it ? I am a bit new to WOW but its looks criminal from them

same here. Living Flame EU. Got the same automatic response, have been loged out for 24 hours. Did not resolve the issue

I created an account on Friday, played a little and the next day my mail/trade AH too does not work, I read a lot of topics but there are no answers, I didn’t want to create a topic, but I had to do it so that Blizzard would finally see its. Disgusting attitude towards players

Same thing for me.
Cant trade use the AH or send mail.
Been like this since 2nd day of p3.
Not getting any answers from support either
I am able to recieve trades but nohing else

because of this error I couldn’t play wow this weekend

same here. Just made a new account, and I could trade fine on AH - friend gave me bags and some gold and now I’m restricted.
Probs some auto “ban” for trading gold or something. Time on a ticket is over 9 days and it’s wonderful.
The druid trainer in Moonglade is being camped into oblivion and guards are enjoying the show.

It’s roughly one day since the reported issue and answer.

As an update to this - Logging out for 12 hours doesn’t seem to have fixed this for myself or others. I’ve raised a bug report (And I’m hoping others have done so as well), and I’ve consolidated all known ticket responses here as there has been a new (different) response since the one I had yesterday <3

My 2nd ticket was answered with the exact same automated response as the first ticket. srsly?

ditto - completely fresh account, I could trade just fine. Then a friend trades me bags and some gold and now I’m restricted.
Seems like an obvious “anti-RMT” thing where they just clap anyone receiving gold for nothing, but without sending a notification like with any other type of “suspension”.
If this really is the case, it would suit them to add some sort of notification. But I guess a way of doing that is just saying “Wait for 30 days and pay for another month and we’re good”.

I share the sentiment. It’s truly baffling how numerous players find themselves entirely excluded from such a crucial aspect of the game, with a complete lack of communication or acknowledgment from the developers or game masters (the latter seem more adept at copy-pasting than genuine interaction). It’s disheartening to see this disconnect persist and what this world has become. Remember the days when blizzard f****d stuff up and atleast gave you a sorry and some gametime ? me answered buy game time, apparently the text of my ticket and problem coincides with the restrictions for a trial account, but my account was paid for more than 7 days and worked without problems

For Hardcore worlds, a new game mode has been introduced that does not allow characters to use the mail and auction house services, as well as accept items from. As for the Season of Discovery game worlds, new accounts that have not yet purchased game time for real money will also are subject to restrictions and will not be able to use the auction house, trade or exchange with other players, or use mail in the game. To remove this restriction, you need to purchase game time in the store.

Account not new, was playing TBC on Us, now SOD on Eu. 3-4 days of gameplay when bug appeared - 40lvl around 25 gold, zero incursions, dont recive or send any gold by mail, dont trade any gold, i’m was poor af buyed 20lvl main rune on 34 lvl and have few 3-7g blue items other ones lvl 30 leather, no mount, no dual spec, not reserched all skills. So i think it’s random lottery we win

But this is not entirely true though, since I was able to trade just fine for 1œ days before this bug happened. And the bug coincided with a lot of other people not being able to use the AH - but my restriction persisted even after others have reported being able to use the AH again.

But even still, that restriction was nowhere to be found when I purchased the game time. It should be such a HUGE disclaimer when adding time on a new account because this is absolutely horrendous to “play”.
