SOME Wow players are the most toxic i have seen in 40 years of gaming

I mean, some definitely are. However OP stating the entire playerbase is, is false.

oh

that’s a shame.
Seems every single company these days is just automating support

I honestly think for me it was WOTLK

But probably because I played on a PvP server back then

Oh I know, I’m just using OPs logic of just claiming things as a fact.

I’ve been playing Bruce Lee recently on an emulator. Tiny little sprite graphics for Bruce, Ninja and Yamo. C64 games were my favourite, so I was replaying Beach Head, manic miner, hunchback and others.

Zero toxicity (except for the fight to use the telly and plug the console aerial out into it) as multi-player gaming meant your mate came round with his spare controller and some game cartridges to swap for a week.

Unless you played with your sibling

Must’ve been all the Edgelord Death Knights with “dk” contained in their names somewhere.

I hear the worst player was called “dkdkdkdkdk” :stuck_out_tongue:

That depends on the size of the VCR, there are portable VCRs that are only a few cm larger than the tapes they play.

The takes people have here are hilarious.
Something can be bad, but:
“Well compared to McDonalds, we’re just a step above their stuff, so stay the course!!”

and that’s all they need.

So long as there’s “well, at least we’re not that guy!” who ran over the puppy with their car, they’ll continue to kick the puppy because it’s not as bad as the other guy.

You can assume all you want but let me tell you something gramps.

Just cause you are old does not give you the right to talk to people from above like you are some big shot. You are just old thats it. No big feat no nothing just old.

Old bag of bones being just as toxic as the people you are complaining about and you cant even see it because being old magicly gives you the right to talk down to people

When i am talking about those that are abusive and nasty ingame for whatever reasons then i will describe them like i did.

Do yu like it when people get abusive to you? Is that something you like and strive to seek out in life? If so, then you have issues.

I on the other hand dont like it. I dont talk to wow players. I dong say hit at the start for reasons listed above, go fish through it all if you want.

I am talking about those people.

Are you abuive in nature? If not then thsi does not concern you as i am nto addressing you.

You all seem to take this very personal for some reason. Is this cos you all are nasty people whom i touched a nerve with, with my statments?

Absolutely. My experiences were factual in nature. That is what that term means.

If you perceive life as it is and deny its reality you have more pressing issues than denying facts to your own self. You would and should be in need of a doctor at that point in time, as you are serioously ill and in need of clinical psychological help.

Considering that people, even in this thread, admit that, at least some, wow players are toxic, means your statement is patently false.

Logic trumps statements made to serve a non existing point, any day of the week. Think that is toxic saying you are incapable of understanding logic? Then start talking sense and stop spouting garbage.

I could be far more polite than that but you all seem to like logic for some reason

Because we were not there and we need to take your words for it.

While i don’t struggle to see some people getting toxic, i also don’t struggle to see how you could be the common denominator on why you always experience toxicity.

Or, could as well be that your attitude in general is a cause of toxicity that you fail to acknowledge even to yourself.

So yeah, pretty hard to take such specific, negative and extreme experience serious. Especially when you try to pass them as facts.

As if you have never seen any of the events i described in detail above.

I am present. Does that make me guilty just by virue of being there? Weird logic.

Have you read as to what any of what you wrote even applies to? Or did you just jump on the lets slap duraace bandwagen with your mates?

Getting kicked for a mog. Getting kicked for misepelling hello. Getting kicked before last boss so they could have a better chance at the loot.

Common demominator, yes. Under those circumstances, however.

Would you fry a guy in the gas chamber just cos he was in the same room as a mass murderer?

I actualy think you would.

Or it could be that over a prolonged period of time, wow turns a certain personality into cynics. If you went through what i went through playing wow, you just might come to that conclusion yourself.

But the funny thing is ive healed nearly 3000 pugs, nearly in silence. So what does that tell you?

Please elaborate on how a silent healer can be toxic enough to cause them to want to through you death treats. Please do.

I can answer that but i am not goign to. I strived to heal all keys with honor. Even the bags that did not deserve it sometimes got loot in groups i was in. I likd dungeons. End of story.

You sound liek you just walked fresh off of the boat adn started playing wow yesterday. If you seriously and with honesty have not exerienced any of the toxicity i have described above then you are one lucky person.

I turned my chat off. Comepleey off for the first time in all the time i have played wow. This month .

No, it is not, a fact means it is based on reality, on evidence that can be proven, you simply claim something from personal experience, that is anecdotal, you would know that, since you’re so “old and wise”

That would still be anecdotal evidence, it is still not a fact, I’m not sure how you don’t understand a simple concept, perhaps it is too new for you.

No, I have never experienced toxicity in game, it doesn’t exist, sorry.

Also, you’re absolutley vile for replying and implying I have mental issues, it is no wonder no one likes you.

There’s 1 common thing with everything you have experienced, and that is you.

Nope, doesn’t exist, it’s a fact, sorry but you’re wrong. :woman_shrugging:

I know, you really could improve on that, could give you a few tips.

Considering you can’t even time 8s, that is painfully obvious.

Do you still think you arent toxic yourself? That was the most toxic behaviour i have seen in a while.
It only goes to show that you being the common denominator in those situations seems all the more likely.

Appalling, childish behaviour, reported and moving on, what a sad human being you are.

I mean hey, he can’t argue against me so he relies on personal attacks, I take that as an absolute W. :joy:

But they are so “old and wise”. I feel like we are talking with an edgy 17yo

See now that is just a lie :joy:

Did i say i never experience/see toxicity? Don’t think so. But i see it really really rarely.

Are you able to do something besides playing the victim? I did not accuse you, i simply said that i don’t know. I was not there. I cannot listen to the other people point of view. I cannot see what they typed on how you played.

I can only take your word for it. Which, usually it’s a biased perspective. That means that you are 100% sure at fault? Nope, i just do not know.

What i can do is compare my pugging experience with yours and make my opinion based on that.
So i am either extremely lucky pugging OR there something else going on that 's not being told here.

That’s the issue, we are here listening only to you talking about episode none else saw happen.

Please a bit more victim playing.

Ahahahhaha oh my good bud, you are actually something else. And you know what’s funny? That when people like you start to pull of this random, extreme example you actually start to show the truth on why such episodes happen to you on such a frequent basis.

Bud, you are playing a videogame.
You a re not in a trech. Stop acting like you had to endure god knows what.

That’s the issue. My experience differ from yours. And since i have been playing WoW since 2012, and M+ since they came out, mostly in pugs.

It just cannot be the case of me being “extremely lucky one”.

That of course, as i said does not mean that “toxicity does not exist”. My point is that, if you experience toxicity daily, to the poin that you have to turn off your chat then something else must be going on.

That does not mean it justify the toxicity, just to make it clear.

But it does give an explanation to it

My guess here is that we have a classic case of “can dish out but cannot receive” on our hands here.
OP has clearly shown VERY toxic behaviour in this thread and justifies this by saying “do you think i care what you think of that?”.
This tells me that OP tends to behave on a toxic manner in game as well but because of how they look at it, only other people are at fault, they could never be wrong because they do not care what others think of their behaviour.
