So you not only learn a few polite words when you travel, you learn the whole language when you do. LOL
Being spanish myself, I’m not gonna argue that everyone should ideally speak english nowdays, but you must understand that there are cultural and historical reasons (For example, derived from the spanish dictatorship’s isolationism till the 80’s) why spanish community don’t normally have a good english level as a whole.
That being said, it’s not our community fault that we don’t have the chance other countries with a similar situation have.
We have enough population and enough lack of english skills for Blizzard to get us a spanish server just to avoid this confortation, and if they don’t, we want to communicate with each other globally in the server just like you do.
Blizzard ignores us in our forums, so maybe the only chance we have to achieve our goals is being visible and making you ask for it, as we are 2nd class citizens in this game.

I’m pretty sure that Griffith guy is a troll at that point. The only thing he knows to say is “you are racist”.
You play on an english server, you speak english or you speak whatever within a community, not in general chat, period.

The make a spanish chat channel and funnel everyone who speaks spanish in normal chat into that channel. Take responsibility!
We don’t blame you for your inability to speak English, it’s not your fault. We do blame you for your refusal to find a way to not be disruptive and rude to your fellow players who have no control over whether you get your own server or not.
But WE won’t be asking for your Spanish server… it’s not our plight (and our privilige not to have to), but if you want us to join your calls for Spanish servers then annoying the people around you isn’t the way to do it…

No, obviously i don’t just become 100% fluent. But because i respect myself, and the culture i’m visiting, I read up and learn key phrases, and keep my native tongue for when I’m alone with whoever im travelling with. Difference is, If i’m going to a big public place, say, a museum, I’m not gonna expect them to be happy with my english words. They won’t understand me, that will annoy them, and that helps no one. At least making an effort to speak the local dialect goes a long way, and gets a lot of respect from the locals in my experience.
What you guys are doing, is going to the museum, screaming in spanish to no one but yourselves, then wondering why everyone is against you.
compare yourselves with uk, germoney and france… man in what world do you live? fairy land? there is less difference between romania and spain than between spain and germoney… wake up

Also, thinking more on it, us pestering blizzard to give yous servers wont do anything. They are a huge company that obviously have lots of numbers and stats to look on. If you guys were big enough to warrant servers, you would get them, like france did. Non spaniards petitioning, will only make it seem like theres way more interest in playing there than there is, when really most will just want rid of yous. All that will do is confirm blizzards assumption that you guys are too small a population.
Convince them yourselves by gathering enough support in your own community, or go on the english servers and speak english, keeping spanish to your local community chats. Those are your two options.

Sadly, thru english speaking community’s complains is how we got our own retail spanish server in the first place.
Anyway, when I’m in an english speaking server I respect the language and I’m the first one to criticize the behaviour we are discussing here.
But in this case I get that this may be not only unavoidable, but even usefull, although annoying to you guys, wich I understand.
But as I said, to Blizzard even an annoyance complaiment in the english speaking forum is more impactful than a polite request in our own forums.
