Spanish Server Desperately Needed

People speak spanish because other people will complain about them and maybe force blizzard to open a spanish server.

What do you think why there was always a russian server? Many russians would refuse to speak english until they get their own server.

And tbh: I would do the same. We would choose a Realm in our forum (like we did before they announced german realms) and I would take german there.

Its blizzards fault.

I prefer to simply report them because speaking language other than english on a english speaking server is actually a violation of TOS

Id rather blizzard be forced to mute them.

Now you’re just being nitpicky to keep the replies coming. Adding a spanish server is of great advantage to the community as a whole. Can we leave it at that?

Yea do that.

Still they will continue speaking spanish.

Look, there are 3 possible outcomes to this:

1-Blizzard gives you an Spanish server.
2-Blizzard does not give Spanish Server, enforces policy of English language in public channels of English servers.
3-Blizzard does not give Spanish Server, one English Servers ends being a defacto Spanish server, as the rest of players abandon it.

1 would be obv. the best (imo)

For number 3 the spanish community would need to communicate in their forums. In the german forum we had coorperations with the french community and choosed a realm.

Well we’ll see it. I just hope the spanish people get their server.

Maybe i am misjudging your typing, but it is like your asking us to accept your intolerant of other people outside your country and that we should just accept that fact. Also seems like behaving so badly with hate speaking, blackmail, and flat out rudeness your asking us to become racist as well.
Blizzard should close this forum/topic.
They do not even need to respond, they have already said there working on it!

Moderators get on it! They are inviting racism this way and your letting it go on! This will give ur company liability ! And yourself as employee since your letting it go on, while there are clear rules! (youtube/google/twitter/facebook enforce these rules, u should as well!)

Give them a server so we don’t have to see Spanish in general chat.

I don’t think we need an Spanish server, we just need to behave from both parts. League, Dota, overwatch don’t have dedicated servers to a language. Even in wow private servers people used to speak on tons of different language. We just need to chill out.
Is it true that some people are just spamming nonsense in Spanish?
Yes, even me, native speaker I was annoyed. I reported them.
Is some English people being too annoying too?
Yes. I’ve seen disgusting and racist comments when people where just linking objects or just looking for a guild. I was even called out for having an Spanish name, for God sake!
Solution, let’s learn to behave and report all those people, as I do. Not because of a language, just for being toxic.
Have a nice classic experience lads!
PS: we dont eat tacos, Spanish is not a race and don’t assume English is the most spoken language (Spanish is the second most spoken language as a L1 int he world

Try saying that to any minority nationalist person and see how that goes :joy:

You do know Spanish is also an international language, do you?

There are public Spanish-speaking TV channels in the US. Many if not most American candidates for president usually give part of their speech in Spanish too during any election. I don’t see Americans protesting about this. It sounds like you guys have some sort of control obsession and can’t stand not understanding something that is clearly not addressed to you.

no hablo español

Well then don’t be rude and don’t tell them what language they should speak in General. You’re enforcing something that is against Blizzard’s guidelines - I will not tire of repeating that Blizzard has explicitly said in these very same forums that any player may speak any language in any chat channel regardless of the server’s language. The server’s language is only indicative of the language that Customer Support agents speak, nothing else.

There are Americans unhappy with it, but sure. That’s not relevant.

They’re speaking in Public Chats. on an English designated server.

The US doesnt have an official language. Just a de facto language of English.
