Spanish Server Desperately Needed

You forgot the 4th outcome, which is the one currently in force: Blizzard does not open a Spanish server (you guys wanted Classic right? No ChAnGeSsSsSs) and allows any player speak any language wherever and whenever they want.

So either buckle up and learn Spanish or /ignore Spanish speakers.

First of all, there are no rules at all about languajes in this game.

So all your argument is about “manners”…and thats subjetive.

Who defines what is good and whats not? You? english people?

You say that is better to talk in a common languaje in public chats but…can we consider english a common languaje if a big part of that comunity cant understand that languaje?

Have you some numbers so we can see that english are the most part of the comunity at least?

What if spaniards are the most part of that server and is YOU who is having a bad behavior?

Oh man…there are many lens.

You’re the one being rude right now. You need to calm down my man.

Don’t even bother with her, she literally said “some cultures are better than others”. Disgusting.

I am rude for telling you politey that you are being rude and for reminding you what is Blizzard’s policy in this sense.

Yeah, sure.

The English servers don’t either.

Once again - Blizzard said that English servers are not servers where English should be spoken, they’re English servers solely because Customer Support agents working for those servers speak English, but any player can speak any language.

Exact.

Oh, I hope you don’t mind I replied to you in my own language. After all, we can speak ANY language ANYWHERE we want, right?

Yes, the majority of European cultures are better than places like…Iran, Zaire or Qatar.

I think I know where you’d rather live

You aren’t being polite, you are being rude.
While I was polite and have been to the Spaniards too. But don’t expect me to stay polite if you keep acting like this.

Just ignoring them is the problem. You have this large ghetto of people who arent of any value to the server, who don’t contribute socially, who don’t contribute almost at all. They become an enclave within the server which is a problem for everyone. The people in the enclave feel excluded and the people out of it look down upon them. There’s a reason we have German and French servers, we should expand it to Spain too. Why are you so against the idea of a Spanish server? Do you hate people being able to feel comfortable speaking their language in a place where it’s welcome?

This was the third option,it is what will happen if current situation persist

Also, I want to add that those who say Blizzard said that the language of the server is merely an indication of the language of the customer support are talking out of their buttocks.

What Blizzard actually said is that the language of the server is the preferred language of that server and the language people are encouraged to speak. Speaking a different language isn’t a bannable offense, but that doesn’t mean it’s encouraged either, and quite frankly, it’s just rude.

Spanish is a language you learn to communicate with people who speak Spanish. English is the language you learn to communicate with people who speak a different language than your first language.
English is used in computers, science, finance… Yeah, you get it…
Yes Spanish is international, in the manner that it’s spoken in several countries. Yes, a significant number of people speak it as their first language, it does still not hold the same function as English.

In an international environment like European servers the best thing would be if everyone was able to communicate in some commonly understood language.
As it is right now, the best solution by far for everyone would be to offer the option of a Spanish server.

I’m really not looking forward to “lfm ubrs, prove you’re fluent in English to get an invite”, which will be absolutely necessary to not get a “que?” followed by a wipe when you try to tell “Legolasito” to dismiss his panther before jumping off the ledge down to rends little arena.
