I can’t imagine him rebelling unless Sylvanas seizes his macaroons from all the azerite exploitation to fund the war effort. Blight catapults are more useful than lobe masssges.

Gotta say, I lost a fair bit of interest in her character when she got a slew of spare lives on her account. Inexplicably, not even the Lich King had that sort of a pact with his own minions/tools.

I’m convinced Sylvanas has a closet filled wth 1-Up mushrooms. They keep bemoaning how ‘few’ valk’yr she has left but she ALWAYS seems to have more where that came from. I won’t believe that she’s actually out of valk’yr until she actually dies for good.
Not surprising. Remember SoO? “Sylvanas! You will leave our corpses alone, or I will deal with you here and now!”
I doubt Lor’themar is k with all the necromancy going on. Particularly if he finds out about that one BElf that got raised (Even if he asked for it, do you think Lor’themar would care?).

The thing is with the while Val’kyr stuff… It’s just that they didn’t wanted to tell a story with them after the Sylvanas short story.
They are just Super Mario 1up… They wanted to get away from the LK’s grasp because they wanted their freedom… Except that we don’t see any benefits of serving Sylvanas or Blizzard don’t care enough… It’s no different from them serving the Lich King.
They could have tell the tale of a rogue Val’kyr trying to evade that deal… Discontement at the sight of their sisters killed one by one because of Sylvanas’s actions… No, they too feel just as much as drones as any other Forsaken. Even Godfrey had more personality than that.

For the record she has three left, which is coincidentally how many it took to resurrect her when Godfrey headshot her.
I’m still relatively sure she’ll use up Nathanos as a last resort. “Why do you think I gave you that body?” aaand bam. Possession has been her thing since WC3.
And here I thought it’d be Vol’jin’s soul possessing Sylv’s body that would make the first trans-species Warchief.

Good point. But that means for her to ‘die’ properly she has to be killed twice more, unless another valk’yr gets offed. Which is possible but still, given she’s died… twice already? (Not counting her original death by Arthas)
Closest to this is Voldemort, but that was less 1-ups and more him being incapable of dying, but being incredibly weak and broken every time he did ‘die’. If the valk’yr were basically horcruxes that made it far harder to kill Sylvanas I don’t think I’d have had as much an issue with it. It’s the dying then coming back twice, with a potential third round of that, that’s bugging me.
If they kill enough valk’yr to the point where she doesn’t have any more 1-ups then great, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they buttpull some other thing that keeps Sylvanas rolling. coughOldGodPowers
Which ties in nicely to my semi-serious semi-joke response to blizzard saying “We don’t want her to be just a raid boss” as them saying “She’s going to be two raid bosses.”

That’s the plot twist. While we fight possessed Nathanos in the final stage, ole Vol’jin slips into Sylvanas’ sundered husk and appears dramatically behind the defeated Nathvanas/Sylthanos, lifting him/her off the ground and blows the fiend away before crushing the former warchief’s charred skull.
“Ya seen wat I seen. Ya know wat we be facin’…”

She might die, get ressed and HS. Or feign death and HS when we leave her room.

This was more or less me acting like the voice of half this server, because everyone (atleast used to) love instantly ganging up on Sylvanas-non-sympathizers.
Eh. It shoulda ended with a cinematic. But her escaping aint weird. She’s always been able to teleport.
It’s almost as though people are sick to death of Blizzard repeatedly causing the Horde to implode on themself after designating them as a filler-villain between world ending threats…
