I play WoW (retail) exclusively for PvP (BG’s). Like many others, I put in time and effort to get PvP gear but its very rare to get a remotely fair game; I am constantly being matched against premades.
Whats infuriating is this is easily fixable; PvP games like LoL, DotA ALWAYS match premades AGAINST premades and solo queuers against solo queuers. All blizzard needs to do is copy that concept, and make all matchmaking mixed faction. Problem solved.
Two small tweaks and you have yourself a PvP goldmine that many would re sub for. Has it been done? No, because blizzard does not respect our time and has always treated BG’s / PvP as an afterthought.

That or groups should receive ZERO honor from bgs, if u gonna ruin fun for every1 else u gain nothing from it.
The fact that u can queue in a group is super bullcrap. Just remove it and let pvp be healthy
There are PLENTY of activities to do with ur “friends” since every1 has 15-40 friends apparently.

This is where I disagree; I would kill to play as part of a premade, with coordinated strategies and discord running in the background. But for a fun and interesting match I would be expected to be matched against a premade.
Unfortunately there are not many active PvP communities out there. Again with the 2 tweaks I mentioned in my OP the problems would be all solved.
And I don’t want to hear from blizzard about “lore” being compromised with mixed faction matchmaking. The “lore” in WoW died some 15 years ago when they decided that Taurens could be paladins.
So in short us PvP’rs could care less about lore and want faster / fairer PvP matches.

There is rated BG, problem solved. There should never been an option to party up for random bgs.
let’s say we play with 4 friends
can you queue blitz ? no it’s limited by 2
can you queue arena ? no there’s no mode for 4 players together
can you queue RBG ? no you miss 6 players
Can you queue random battlegrounds ? yes that bracket is unranked so if people win or lose it does not matter + you can make new friends there along the way !

rated BG’s take far too much time for queueing and are too limited in their options or scope. Right now solo queue is only 8 vs 8.
