Sadly, I really hated killing Argus, and now Nzoth its a shame, I cant stress this enough I really want to canonically lose a fight , see its impact

I think a lot of people was wanting to initially lose to N’Zoth, and have him drag us to the Shadowlands, break our spirits, it would tie in to the level squish too.

I also think a lot of people was wanting Bolvar / Lich King to be a prominent threat.

Sadly they killed both story lines in one.

We don’t know the cinematic, but we do know the dialogue between the main NPCs discussing his defeat and even at Blizzcon Ion said something along the lines of “So, Azeroth is finally at peace… what could go wrong… it’s not like theres a threat looming in the background”.

Now they’re even redefining the whole ‘Chronicle’ series to be from the perspective of the Titans, so even those books can be changed at a moments notice for new big bad threats.

Yes ! But Spoiler if you did not read , Alleria said she faced Sylvanas in battle (that never happened) , and she hears even more voices.

Also the people that are loyal to Nzoth still say we have his gift ! ( this is just terrible cause I will never cleanse it now :frowning: )

But then we couldn’t handle Jaina in a fight? Also we didn’t kill Azshara, who survived. For example. So, the logic falters there a little.

(Also you won’t one shot N’Zoth, not till at least end of next Xpac)

I don’t think Sylvie will be killed, personally, and perhaps not necessarily fought. Maybe, maybe not. Don’t be so sure she’s going to die.

I’d imagine Blizz have other plans for her.
It depends on whether or not Blizz were being honest about Sylvanas not being Garrosh 2,0.

If we fight Sylvanas and she dies, then she is just going to be a long, drawn out Garrosh 2,0. Another Horde Warchief who ‘goes bad’ and who we need to put down.

We will see what happens.
