I would not be subbed if I couldn’t play Classic
Edit: I only play TBC.
Once every red moon, I log into retail and troll trade chat for a few minutes.

I log in retail once or twice a month to try to sell some old mats in hope that I get the gold for a token together at one point.

yup loved tbc back in the day i tired it on classic an realised it was all nostalgia and retail is superior in quite a few ways with the quality of life improvements such as dungeon finder

Probably not.
I don’t play much to begin with, but I doubt I would be subbed only for retail, since I haven’t been on retail in a long time.
It’s not that I dislike retail, it has a lot of fun fetaures as well, but the classic world seems smaller and it’s easier to meet other players and it takes a little more effort to keep myself alive than it was before.

I play only retail.
It is not perfect, but i find my ways to have fun wether by roleplaying or farming mogs or playing through older expanstions (mop)
but i dont support removing classic. There are people who enjoy that 
I play both games very casually, but haven’t played classic now for around 2 months, because I have all the gear, that I want. Same in retail: I also stopped playing, because I’m pretty much bis geared, and the mythic raid bis isn’t worth chasing, because it consumes way too much time to just reach the bosses, that I think are cool

I would play Classic if they had ways to buy gold from blizz store.
I don’t want to pay 3rd party gold sellers.
Retail since Legion till early SL as MW. K3 prior to Classic vanilla as RSham, then Classic as mage till BWL with a break till AQ and then break till TBC as HPal and quit after progression in P1 of TBC. Now maybe WoTLK fresh or the-other-fresh as RDru/bear. No Dragonsomething unless they show actual good content and progression (playable M+, elite fishing, less overdone oversized raids and so on…)
