Gear problem. If you didn’t start play arenas soon as possible in SL you didn’t get the reward. I have 187 ilvl and can’t win anything in 2s and 3s. previous week I can, now can’t. It’s not cause I’m a bad player. It’s cause enemies have 200+ ilvl.
Main problem is that gear depends from rating but rating depends from gear. So you wanna upgrate to 207? get 1400. Want 1400? Get 200 ilvl. Nice!
Also problems with unbalanced specs. Forms full of topics about it (also funy that players who play for OP specs always blame ppl that they can’t play and must get better, lol)
I’ve met on arenas PvE guys, and they cut us for a 10 sec, around. We was retri pal, feral and rsham. All around 1200 rate.
Also How I can get rate if win gives me +14 lose takes -17. Hm… So yeah, I agree with ppl who write that is “WORST PVP SEASON EVER”.
I’m switch to PvE and leveling new characters in opposite faction. I hoping that next season will be some changes. Otherwise I have a choice looking for other PvP game or become PvE player. Tnx f-bliz-activision! Love you!
I don’t say that. I’m glad that we can play BG and a bit PvE and lvl up till 184 ilvl. That’s good system. Bad this part: For getting High gear you need arena rate, for getting arena rate you need a high gear. That a reason why many ppl stuck at some numbers. Sombody 1200 sombody 1500 somebody 1700. IN my case I have 187 ilvl and got arena opponents 200+ so I can’t win. I tried going with Paladin 200+ and DC priest 200+ and we win, but I alwways die after we killed 1st enemy.
I don’t think so I’m soo bad. Also I have expirience in other side of this problem, from 1200 to 1400 with my Warrior was really easy, but from 1400 till 1600 was something terrible. So I remember how easy I win.

I do not blame. Is a fact. Read forums. Many players stuck at 1200/1500/1700/1900. This is a logical problem from logical causes. I’ve been expecting answers like your. Don’t blame you, just understand that it will be.
Again, read what I’ve wrote. If you don’t understand, you can simply ask instead blaming me that I can’t play. Also I didn’t tell that I’m the best in PvP.
maybe it’s because they belong at this rating? what’s wrong with being stuck at a rating? the real issue is blaming the game because you consider the rating you’re at lower than what you deserve. dude you play retri feral rsham at 1.2 the issue isn’t the gear or spec balance or whatever, it’s plainly you and your teammates but ok quit the game already, this entitled mentality is insane
I played with retri and dc only few matches and see difference. And probably you right and my rate should be 1.2 so it means I never, ever, even if I’ll get better throw practice didn’t get high rate cause for getting this rate need gear, but for getting gaer I need rate. lol. Insane.

Reason i quit pvp also, if you have a ranking system for pvp gear okay.
But why in the world do you put it behind the covenant ?
renow 22 is the next rank, and those who run high mythics have the best gear already. You can say what you want, but doing pve giving you the upper hand in arena. That is just facts, full ranked 5 sinfull gear vs mythic + gear.
I see it enough that i face guys at lower rating with insane gear and weapons.
And here i am with my rank 5 bow and rank 5 gear.
I had big hopes for SL and i was excited for ranking my gear up even if it took a bit. But if im forced to do something i don’t want, i just quit.
Remind me when we can have our pvp gear at max rank, then we can dual with equal gear and weapons and make it a fair fight !
Ok to explain why i think this season is good for wow let me tell you this.
I played wotlk to 2.4+ and quit during first Cata season because not only went the game to sh*t but everyone else noticed it and started leaving the game. The Subscriber number has dropped so drastically the following years that Blizzard stopped posting the numbers. I came back for a few months of MoP but it wasnt better so at that time i wanted to quit games too so i just had them delete my account(you write a letter, here in the EU, companies are forced to do that by law if a customer requests it)
But lo and behold I came back to last legion season cause i had seen a lot of intersting stuff happening and i had some free time to spend. It was fun but not only was the gearing system terrible but also playing alts was a real time sink with the artifact power stuff, which they continued into BFA. Now BFA was a sh*tshow as far as i saw in s1 + beginning of s2 so i left with the hopes of a new addon bringing something good.
They did improve above everything since and including Cataclysm mechanic wise. Now if we are talking numbers, they definetely require tweaks and some rebalancing, but all in all this Addon seems promising. Now if that hope is getting destroyed by not rebalancing things like the current AMS legendary, they will lose out on a huge player pool again.
yes that positive that we can get some honor and buy a gear. But it’s only one benefit. Cause BG already ruined for fresh 60 lvl, and it will bot stops when they can get honor for update till 184, cause at these time ppl will have much much more powerfull, and it will be more complicated to fight with ppl.

I’ve get my gear and update it. Also get some 200 ilvl things. But point is, that 190 ilvl will always lose against 200 ilvl. As we can see today in PvP season 10 points difference is really crucial.
Yes, it’s promising. As I said I’ll wait for second season. Cause now it’s very bursty PvP, and not the best system in gear cause will be big gap between ilvls, and raiders + arenears with 2200 will ruins PvP for players who don’t going to raids and didn’t get 2200. I hoping, they’ll manage this somehow. But that’s a reason why I made a post on forum. Probably they track forum messages, probably even this message will come to some person who can make an impact on development
I don’t have statisitc, but I track forums and see how many messages like “I gonna unsubscribe” was deleted. I hoping blizzrd read all forums and makes some notes.
