Just add a “Join as group” option already. Because of Horde queue times, there will in fact always be someone to fill in if someone should leave. It’s practically impossible for the Horde to be fewer than 40 people, for any noteworthy amount of time.

Give deserter debuff to players who don’t accept their BG pop if it happens within 1 minute of them queuing up.
Pretty sure this would get rid of 10v40 games, kill alliance premades while not affecting horde at all since they all have longer queues than 1 minute.
But Blizz won’t do it.
