Suggest: NO GDKPs in SOD please do anything to make GDKPs not worth it to form legit anything please

So explain to me what the driving force behind botting is then if it’s not GDKP?

What else to people need copious amounts of gold for throughout all phases of the game?

Please don’t say epic mounts or BOEs or any other one time purchase stuff such as lvling profession. In you professional opinion why do we have people running 600 bots simultaneously across 8 large TV screens?

You seem very angry internet person i wonder would you be so angry if u talk to someone with your mouth and not your keyboard.
Also … not the smartest on the planet i see.
Take care man have a nice life with that mouth.

And there you lost the argument kiddo.

Get some life experience.

Okay  whatever makes u sleep better

Simple - Humbert’s Helm costs 100 gold in AH.

And before I get braindead suggestions about how we should delete Humbert’s Helm - replace it with well… everything, mats, greens, pots, flasks, enchants, summons - you name it.

The game has a TON of upkeep and people are looking for a farming out.

Because what you have in WoW is a small snapshot of real-world economy. The comparisons are apt.

It’s like Yoshi-P, FF14 lead once said - running an MMO is like running a country. Many of real world challenges are here as well, inflation, grey markets, syndicates and what not.

So maybe we should just remove the trading function in raids; byebye ML and hello Group Loot.

And screw up organized guild raids, and make a game a whole lot more toxic with ninjas or dumbasses needing on nonsense.

Remember how Blizzard tried to get rid of ML in retail? Didn’t take long before they brought it back, did it?

It’s like - my whole point is, your “solutions” are akin to cutting a patient’s hand, so the finger cut won’t bother him.

And what’s worse, it won’t do a jack shizzle to bots anyway. That’s the hilarious part - you practically ruined the game, but did not fix the actual issue.

One time purchase next???

Certainly, while video games can incorporate elements that resemble aspects of the real world, it’s crucial to remember that they are ultimately a form of entertainment with distinct differences. Drawing parallels between a video game and real-world events or ideologies may oversimplify complex issues.

For instance, WoW features various fantastical elements, including races with unique characteristics. However, equating these in-game races to real-world historical figures, like Hitler, might not be the most productive approach. Video games often employ creative liberties to construct fictional worlds, and it’s essential to differentiate between the imaginative context of a game and the historical realities of the real world.

Man, it’s like… I even added the

part… and it still did not help.

Sigh.

Thanks, chatGPT!

If you want to make a point - use your own brain. I know it’s hard, but you can do it, I believe in you!

Yeah because you haven’t answered the question.

I mean if that’s your best answer then what can I say. You clearly have no clue. Yes I’m sure the tens of thousands of bots are farming 24/7 so people can buy Humberts Helmet

It’s right there - it’s just worded more nicely.

I literally answered it in quote.

Replace Humbert’s Helm - with just about every other key commodity in AH. Humbert’s Helm you buy once, FAPs/pots you buy every reset.

What other answer do you need?

Then refer to its own answer: “Certainly, while video games can incorporate elements that resemble aspects of the real world”

Certainly it is so, economy here is a simplified reflection of a real world free market. You cancel gold? They will move to bitcoin… I mean Arcane Crystals.

Your question was based on believes that gdkp gone = bots gone .
Now here is my counter question to you : Where was the GDKP in late 2005 /06/07/08/09 where millions played this game and at one point bots where so many that u couldnt even make gold for your mount unless u live in the game. They were fishing bots , herbalist bots everything just without the flying ones. Where was the gdkp ?

Humberts helm is only getting replaced by a raid item, maybe through GDKP.

Consumables are something you need 1-2 times a week for a raid unless you’re actively ranking and then most people ranking seriously won’t risk getting banned. All these things are a tiny fraction of what people spend in GDKP. They’re also easily maintained by playing casually so why risk getting banned to buy a few flasks/pots or a BOE.

I’m not disagreeing that people won’t buy gold for such items, but it’s not the reason we have so many bots. The reason is GDKP plain & simple. There’s no other requirement in the game that needs that kind of gold consistently throughout all phases of the game.

Maybe, maybe not. The point was that just because I set a lower fixed gold limit per phase, it wouldn’t be “communistic” in that sense that I can’t tell what people can or can’t do and then do some comparison in the real world.

I hate gnomes, so I’m a racist and equally racist in real life and hence should be treated that way? lol

I said it would reduce the amount of bots drastically not completely eliminate them.

I don’t even hate the concept of GDKP, I just don’t like it at the expense of the game in the current state. They can add wow token and people can spend as much as they want on pixels and in game power it doesn’t bother me. I’ve played plenty of P2W games before and just accept that’s how it is.
