Its weird if they dont help to restore quest items. Even private servers did that because quest items are unique and unobtainable if you accidentally delete them.

cant you find another player at the same stage, group with them, have them use their trinket and complete the quest?
Just give the guy that item back, why is everyone so worked up about? How is this negatively affecting y’all, why are you all so nasty? He’s not asking for some item he didn’t work for, it was an honest mistake. Jeez.
OP, open another ticket and try to get another GM to help, different people will approach things differently.

It seems the truth is nasty, the reason is if Blizzard do it for one person with one item they will have to do it with any other item someone wants returned to them, then the ticket queue will get even longer.
The real question is, why would you need that quest in the first place?
It doesn’t give any valuable rewards, if any at all, besides some gold and exp, as far as I remember. So why even bother?
And this affects you how? Do you have any pending tickets? Are you waiting for a gm to reply to you?

Quest-items should be restored.
I haven’t used the item-restoration tool myself, but is it limited to 15 days?
Loot from bosses, craftables, rare materials or anything that can be re-obtained I agree you should just suck up and do over again if they cannot be restored through the tool. Quest-items that cannot be re-obtained and hinder progression of a questline should be restored - with assistance if need be.

How do you know “many people are”. How do you know there are many requests for deleted items? What’s your proof?
