You can use item restore feature if it only was yestarday

There is reason why they dont return items that you yourself removed it.

You can obtain it again is the reason , so stop complaining.

Go loot essence of eranikus from ST last boss and get the Oathstone by talking to Itharius, at the cave in the SW part of Swamp of Sorrows.

Stop complaining on something you can get. Instead of asking GM things that you choose to do.

You can always get essence of eranikus when you kill last boss in st, press the fire behind him and will provide you with new one.

I had no idea, good to know so thank you! I sold mine two days before I discovered there was more to it and I could not restore it. Figured that was it then. Time to do ST again!

If you can reobtain the quest-item simply by abandoning the quest and loot the item from Eranikus again, I fully agree. I did not know that was the case when I wrote my previous post.

If thatā€™s the case, I side with the GM as progress is not halted without a possibility to restart.

Actually, what quest are you talking about? I cant really remember a quest that you couldnt just take again and get a quest itemā€¦

If Iā€™ve understood it correct, he took the Essence of Eranikus, used it on the brazier behind Eranikus which gave him the trinket, then at some point deleted it.
Then he discovered that there is a follow-up quest which requires you to have the trinket.
Not much point in bothering to retrieve the item either way, though. You just talk to the elf in the cave, get a little lore, and he sends you to Winterspring to talk with someone there. And thatā€™s it. Itā€™s a dead end questline that was never finished.

It wonā€™t provide me a new one from killing Eranikus, because i ALREADY completed it and this quest ISNā€™T repeatable.

Lots of unpleasant posts here. Everyone makes mistakes. It wonā€™t affect them one jot if you get the item restored.

As a matter of fact I remember doing the same thing back in Vanilla, not understanding that I would need it for a future quest.

But the GM replaced it for me after a sent a ticket.

Things may be different now, 13 years later - but Iā€™d send another ticket if I were you, see if you can escalate the issue.

If you still fail to get it back, it will just be a case of accepting you made a mistake, and knowing not to make it again on your next alt.
