I was not talking about farming times thought just stating that the cost is too high for what it actually does it serves no point being that high it doesnt affect the economy either so I’d say we have a good chance of asking for a reduced cost
How about no.
You knew that respect would cost 50g before the game started last year. You knew exactly, what you would yourself get into when you created your character.
Though there is an iteration of the game where you can respec all you want and that is retail wow. Go play that one if you want convenience changes and vulperas ans unicorn mounts
I understand that for new players leveling up it’s frustrating to not be able to play around with different talents. Unfortunately this is the way it is.
Bold of you to assume everyone researched this game. I personally never researched talent costs at all. Thankfully I’m happy with my build, but your entire argument against this is based on assumption. Games are meant to be fun. In the orginal wow:c the cost was way too steep and unfun. It’s not challenging, or difficult, or even rewarding. It’s literally just punishing people for trying different builds. It’s punishing the nice warrior that respects to go tank (when tanks are critically short). It’s punishing the person who wants a different build for pvp and pve. It’s daft mate, and changing it no way would change the actually exprience of WOW:C for other players, it would just shave off time grinding gold to respec.
Ironically reducing the cost would probs result in taking more from the economy, as right now people won’t respec unless there’s a gun to their head past the first couple of times. It would do a lot of good for the game, me thinks.
Oh please, you don’t respec to tank as a warrior, you can tank everything in any spec.
And in most cases you don’t have to respec if you carry another set of gear.
This game is 15 years old. Everybody and their mother knows that respeccing costs gold. It is a gold sink and a way to identify yourself with a character. It is a way to make sure you think strongly over the talent choices you make. Like I said, if people don’t like it they can go play retail. There you can set up 2 ways to skill. One for pvp and one for pve. There it is cheap to respec.
Stop trying to turn this game into retail. It is with all your stupid changes that retail became a shadow of what it once was.
Go to retail and enjoy all the qol changes you so desperately want
It is a shakedown which has the good side effect that it sinks gold. Even though I think you can pretty safely introduce dual spec. Alot of private servers have done this which mostly satisfied the audience. It gives people more freedom and possibilities, which is what you want in a game like Vanilla. This is just my opinion though.

This is an RPG, so your in-game choices should have consequences. You aren’t supposed to reset your talents on a daily basis.
Do you want to expand on what class/classes and their levels that you try out different specs? because I cannot see unless your a hybrid class or your trying a specific spec how you could possibly rack up a 50g talent reset. I was healing/dps the last 5-7 levels on my paladin and was constantly swapping and still only got 25g respecs.
This statement shows how little you understand about economic principles, the fact that it takes gold out of the economy means that it is a positive against inflation, you know, that problem we are having.
