Blizzard back at it again with the trash system. Have 0 echoes on main but on alts I have 15k+.
Once again you’re not rewarded from playing the game.

I noticed a pattern. People who stockpiled are happy and bashing other’s who unlocked all essences, while people with mains who never even saw echoes in the first place just want an even playground and not fall behind 1 month 
On top of that, the corruptions are rotating in the vendor too… So if there’s any good corruption on the first week, well, guess what, even more falling behind. WITH MAIN CHARACTERS. What a joke.

I didnt buy every single essence because I thought blizzard might add something else to the game to spend echoes on like a mount or transmog. So yes I am against people who want to reset echoes for everyone so they can feel a bit less salty.
Rotation on the vendor is the only real issue with this whole thing.

Of course they are people who unlocked every single essence before echoes were introduced and I kinda feel a tiny bit bad for those people but being 10k echoes behind someone else isnt a real issue.

There are many issues with the new system.
The rotation of the corruption on the vendor is one out of an entire bunch. I mean, if they’re giving us the ability to add whatever corruption and rank we want to a specific item. What is the logic behind the fact that we have a vendor where the corruptions are rotating?
I highly doubt that someone who wants Gushing wounds will say…hey, I will get this x% mastery corruption because the one I want is not in this week’s rotation. That dude will just wait for 1-2-3 weeks and whenever Gushing is on, he will just spam 2-3 items with it.
Just calculate how much I could’ve earned with this:
Multiple tens of thousands. Which is about 2-3 rank3 corruptions.
The sad thing is that the system has very high potential to incentivize people into getting max power for their characters and transform the game entirely.
Unfortunately, like all bfa systems so far, it’s just poorly implemented and plain bad.
I’m with others in this thread who are irked at their lack of echoes. I seem to have about 2k, but I guess I’ve stopped getting them since getting every PvE essence to rank 3. Every assault, 1-2 visions, 1 raid and 1-3 M+ every week.
Sure would’ve been nice to backstock from those, but… guess not!

I can’t really say much more than what has already been said multiple times on this thread. I also feel that i shouldn’t of put in the effort on my main. Instead I just should’ve unsubbed for a few months and waited until this is all in place, then re-subbed. I have not seen 1 echo on my main and would’ve liked to buy 1 or 2 pieces with “saved” echos.

Yeah, guess like some of you, i’ll muddle through with what i have…0 echos on this toon. Nice idea Blizz, but execution not so much. I focussed on my main and couldn’t be arsed to do the same stuff all over again on my alts. Guess this is the price i have to pay for it.

I don’t see the issue with this. When everyone has it the games will be somewhat balanced, and they will go fast without going deep into dampening.
this system is half assed.
so what if people will get cloak fast to level 15 when then they will be stuck with +3 resistance per week since most people hate raiding.
I’ve never seen a single echo on this character despite an enormous amount of content. Meanwhile others can walk in day 1 and buy several top corruptions. Despite doing far less work than me.
And then there’s the idiotic rotation on the vendor, so by the time I do get them the corruption might no longer be available. Meaning I could have to wait months.
Ridiculously unfair and as usual awful implementation by Blizzard.

To all those saying “stop whining, its no big deal that some ppl will be able to buy corruption before you” You are forgetting one massive detail to why this is pissing ppl off.
If we were starting from scratch then it would annoying ppl but more so you are not taking into consideration the MONTHS and WEEKS some people have been trying to get one particular type of corruption only for RNJesus to say “computer says no”.
And now you have jonny the pleb hunter getting his T3 Infinite Stars cause he cba to grind all the essences and is sat on 30k echoes, while you have zero and cannot make enough before the rotation changes and have to wait god knows how long before IS is available to buy again.
The system is designed for one reason only, to keep you playing the game plain an simple.
The irony is that it may just do the opposite, i.e make enough echoes and dont bother logging in until your vendor rotation comes up for the corruption you want. Where if you just allow ppl to buy any corruption from the start they will want to play with that and log more hours.
Typical Blizz tho, literally “Here have this massive ice cream cone…oh btw its cow piss flavour”.

Instead of Blizzard increasing the amount of 5 to try to balance out alts and main characters that haven’t been able to collect Echoes why not just make it a reset like the Titan Residuum?
Grant the people with Echoes a small amount of silver per Echoes and let everyone start fresh instead.

No mate peopel are complaining because after 4 months of grinds they still dont have their corruption, and now they are introducing a system that is slightly better but we still have to wait for the right rotation to get our corruptions.
Great job screwing over people who actually cared getting all essences on an alt.
Didn’t play vengence and still not playing it but got all the essences just in case I need to tank a key or two. And that held me back of farming 15-30k Echoes? So I get punished with not getting two bis corruptions by simply grinding essences.
What a joke, don’t get me wrong, its great against RNG but only if you would reset the Echoes beginning next week on Wednesday.
You did it aswell with Residuum, why not now? Give “lazy” players, who didn’t care for all essences a headstart? Whut

As a suggestion, track all players did in retrospect and reward them the amount they would have gained.
I bet you guys track who did which assault etc. automatically, then for people doing 3 vision runs a week etc.

Some people will get to buy a lot of corruptions faster cause they have already thousands of Echos in their characters. Meanwhile my main has 0 echoes cause I obtained all rank 3 essences on him. That is REALLY UNFAIR. You should reset echoes like srsly.
