The one and only thing I hate in TBC is that male Draeneis are so macho beefcakes that as caster class they look really silly in cloth!
I don’t roll female characters so even tho I like Draenei that still bothers me a lot.
The only thing I hate in WotLK is that to me the whole area is really just what it’s called North(rend) unlike the awesome different type of zones in Vanilla and TBC, the WotLK zones are very similar North themed zones exept a few that is not but even those are not that good, so too much North in Northrend is what bothers me.
Given the attitude of classic playerbase to minmax their play, it’s getting more tiresome to find any dungeon groups… can certainly see both sides from pro- and anti- LFG people now.
LFG and LFR basically removed the need to have social skills in WoW which killed communities, the chance of making friends on a wider scale, reduced the amount of drama of fun you could have engaging with new people as people got used to not speaking, it basically rewarded the awkward and unsociable and hurt those wanted to play an MMORPG not a lobby based multiplayer
I think cash shop killed WoW and maybe the removal of the Talent Tree system.
Anyway to stay on topic, I don’t see the problem with Flying, I assume PvP people are against it but back then I only played on PvP servers and I remember 2 epic ganks I did to this day I laugh so hard if I think about them:
Enemy player was flying, I used death grip, pulled him down from the sky and crushed him hard! XD
This second is not about flying but really funny, enemy player was fishing, I was questing under water and pulled him down into the bottom of the lake summoned my skeleton army and he was dead in 5 sec!
Well maybe current classic playerbase is continuation of that… but now players just getting their bis, never doing it again, reserving half the dungeon or just not bothering at all… people flooding 5 chat at once to spam their lfg hours and hours not finding anyone is kinda not much as social but as annoying spam to anyone who reads.
And no i’m not defending lfg, but i can see it being almost must have in current gaming climate where people only minmax and think their own gain.
How can you hate that ? It’s just … incredible. I have no word to describe the feeling when you come here for the first time. Check to comments into the video lol.
Anyway, if I were to mention something I disliked about TBC, it’d be the Draenei race. Don’t get me wrong, I do like the blue spacegoats per se, and Azuremyst Isle is among my favorite starting zones ever. My issue is that I really would have liked to be able to play as a Lost One^^ I know, maybe I just have weird taste, it probably wouldn’t have been popular to say the least, and I kinda get scared just trying to think of gender differences among lost ones… but I liked that race since Warcraft 3, what can I do about it
That was WotLK, Windfury Totem in TBC works exactly as in Vanilla.
But thank you, I’ll add this to the list of “things people think came in TBC but only came later” such as LFD, normal res for druids, Hand of Reckoning for paladins etc^^
