The 400 ilvl piece of gear ruined Warmod even more that it was

hey there! apparently gnomes are capable of using search tools:

That’s what honor is for horde:

That’s what horde suggested alliance to do:

That’s how alliance is ranting (or rather not) about Horde getting favored:

I’m not denying it, i’m just disagreeing with half of what you’re saying. You said Wm was fun for both sides. It clearly was not and the fact that it was fun for both sides is not a fact more of an opinion. Wm was only balanced at the very start of bfa.

You should take your own advice on not recognizing or acknowledging things.

Oh and i’m not a bitter Alliance player. I just dislike the hypocritical horde ppl saying “Blizzard is favoring the Alliance! Why are they getting heroic BoD level gear? Why do they have more bonus in WM?” When they had the same advantage.

Whelp. Blizzard themselves have said that it took longer than all the other allied races combined.

Knowing what I know about game design I’m pretty sure they’re telling the truth.

The new Orc Male model is just for one gender and uses the original rig with some minor alterations. Most of the animations remain unchanged too.

I love seeing the horde cry. It shows that we all cry regardless of the faction.

To be honest I agree that 400 is too much and im glad its gonna be reduced to 385. But do you know what would be better? Removing any kind of rewards from warmodes.

Horde or alliance, we must not bicker like “horde got this blabla”, “alliance got this blabla”, “you said git gut”, “no you said git gud” or stuff like that.

What we should do, is to try to solve the problem. This bickering is pointless and it wont achieve anything other than making the participants furious over the other side’s comments.

Remove any kind of rewards that are given by participating in warmode and its going to be fine. Only people who want to world pvp will enable it. If not, nobody is losing anything anyways. Would be better than what we have right now.

Blizzard say a great many things. Many of which should be taken with a small mountain of salt.

You’re in luck!

I could hardly be described as salty considering I’m saying things are about even. In fact taking no side, as opposed to what is usual in these situations.

I didn’t mean you.

Early on for every world quest I encountered, I had to wait 20 minutes for the group’s of 5+ Horde that were rotating all the time to leave in order to be able to quest. Eventually I realized how inefficient this was and turned it off. It’s time for you to do the same. I am sorry to say it this way, but no one is forcing you to have warmode on. If you turn it off no one will camp you and nothing can happen to you. Sucks I know but don’t kid yourself thinking the Horde didn’t act the same way the Alliance is acting now.

Maybe not to the same extent that Ally is doing it but they sure as hell did it. Almost any map you zoned in early on had Horde bounties all over the place. I think also a part of why this is so bad is because the Ally players have developed an actual hatred for the Horde and what happened to them early on on the xpac.

Not everyone is killing Horde just because of the 400 ilvl piece. How do I know this? I was in group that hunted Horde long before the reward was introduced and I guarantee you almost everyone in this group had been camped by a Horde group before hand and was out for revenge, not stupid high ilvl gear.

Please just leave the xp on. I hate slow leveling and at least warmode offers a faster solution when questing. The %xp didn’t break anyone’s game. No one is complaining about levelers breaking warmode. On the contrary if you remove the %xp almost no one will level in warmode because they will 99% go against 120 gankers and that is a fight you can’t win, so it won’t be worth the hassle.

Drowning in tears.

This makes absolute sense and something that so many - from both sides - have been asking for. But also make it so that if you toggle WM on, it stays on for a week.

Leave my poor %xp alone :frowning:. If you remove this, gankers will have no one to gank. No one in their right mind will level up without some incentive to turn warmode on and risk getting roflstomped by a 120 for 30 minutes straight.

P.S. so no one interprets this wrong. I am a leveler not a ganker(although I have ganked before for the lols).

But you have the same opportunity to do it back - so where’s the problem? I like wPvP when it naturally occurs, not when it’s forced because of PvE items

Do it back to who? To the guy ganking me? When I am out leveling I don’t want to waste my next 2 hours briging my main and 1vs1ing someone who is bored out of their mind and want to kill lowbies. I am there to level up as fast as possible to get my chars to max. The occasional pvp that may happen with people of the same level is fun, but is not worth the risk of max levels prowling around. If you remove the %xp you are killing warmode on low levels wether you like it or not.

How many people do you think actually enjoyed the experience of leveling in a pvp server? Judging by the amount of forum posts, not many. The cat and mouse game is fun at first but it gets stale pretty quickly. This was the reason most people asked for warmode in the first place. To not risk getting ganked 24/7. In a utopian world people would pvp just to pvp. But let’s face it, if you remove any sort of reward from an mmo activity, people will stick to this activity for far less than they do now

Give him a medal when he also comes up with a solution that actually separates things into “pve rewards” and “pvp rewards”. What you refuse to understand over and over in these warmode threads is that there is no “pve reward” - this concept does not exist. And I already told you repeatedly why the current design of conquest and honor would make such awards useless: noone (hyperbole, almost noone) cares about the stupid honor system that doesn’t award anything (“prestige” lol - nothing prestigious about it), and conquest is capped + there either are better pvp sources to gain conquest from - arenas and rbgs duh! - than this, or this would become a mandatory Trashran style thing.

As long as the pvp gearing system is based on this ridiculous RNG, as long as we are actually forced to farm their idiotic artifact/azerite power, as long as azerite traits are the make-or-break thing in pvp and as long as pve gear is the top pvp gear because the skill-to-reward ratio is vastly skewed towards pve (e.g. the equivalent of playing at 2200+rating, which is something barely 3% of the pvp population can do and likely a lot less of the overall population, is doing a mythic +10 freehold) - as long as all these things exist, what you propose is not a solution, it’s simply something that appeases your particular playstyle while making it worst for others that play the game differently from you and killing the warmode feature in the process.

No, if you actually want to push this “perfect solution” crap, then the perfect solution is to fix all the spillover systems:

  1. implement a pvp stat once more on gear. Pvp power, resilience, doesn’t matter which - the purpose is to ensure that the best gear in pvp comes exclusively from pvp sources, while the best gear from pve comes exclusively from pve sources;
  2. re-introduce pvp vendors for honor and conquest gear so that pvp specific currencies actually have value for pvp players;
  3. either remove the need for AP in pvp, or provide pvp exclusive means of having the same AP/hour on average as the most efficient pve means;
  4. make the azerite traits existing on gear obtained from pvp to be vastly superior in pvp compared to azerite traits obtained from pve, and the same thing in reverse in pve (pve azerites > pvp azerites).

This is the actual solution you are looking for, posting two liners like “just give them honor and conquest lulz” is actually unhelpful garbage.

There is no refusal apart from you don’t agree with the suggestion. No on has stated PvP players don’t have to level their necks. What has been suggested repeatedly is to make them pure PvP rewards.

They would solve all the issues with WM if they took all the resources off that are farmed by PvE players.

But instead their answer is to drive the Horde out of WM instead. It’s working even some of our raiders are turning it off now because being hunted non stop with an endless supply of five man parties has been ridiculous. I am hoping with a lesser item next reset it wont be as crazy.

I do feel for PvP players and I don’t see why the don’t just give them proper PvP gear with a vendor and PvP stats.

There are no such things, and this makes the suggestion in the context of BfA beyond stupid.

what about the 415 gear you’ll get from darkshore first or when bfa went live the free 370 piece you got or did i forget?
