No. Just look at how many people would never consider doing more key than the strict necessary to get their weekly chest.
Give less loot and people will stop caring about Mythic+. That’s facts.
Don’t play multiple chars then. The game shouldn’t be balanced around people who wants to play five characters and progress as fast as someone focusing on just one.
You are the only one here who cry because he wants to do ONLY M+ and absolutely refuse to touch anything else.
That’s a problem that exist almost exclusively in the M+ crowd. “Oh my god I want to run only M+ the entire week, you can’t force me to do something else!!”.
Your community is the only one that we hear crying everytime they have to play something else than M+.
Meanwhile everybody else is forced to do M+ because it’s by far the most efficient gearing method for basically anyone except the very few people that can clear the entire Mythic raid, which is… Almost nobody in the playerbase.
Heroic raiders which are far more common will literally get the best ilvl of their entire season in the weekly vault from M+.
Stop crying, you already have the best loot pinata of WoW.
Now you are insulting me as a EU guilds supporter. Echo > Limit.
I played four weeks of M+ casually (by casually I mean four a week to get two choices each week), I’m already at a point where I almost can’t get any upgrade at all from Heroic raiding if I decided to go there.
As I said in the rest of my post, unless I invest enough to do multiple mythic bosses, raiding is pointless.
I mean you can, but if you complain because “it’s hard to gear multiple char” then don’t do it. Your choice.
Good thing Dinar exist and you could have finished the quest already if you just tried a little.
The raids are boring as hell. They should stop making trinkets that are pretty impactful in m+ but sucks in the raid dropping from the raid. Resonant reservoir is really bad in a raid environment but is really good in m+.
Actually that’s fair, but I bet it has more to do with them having no idea what an item will actually be good for than anything related to raid and M+ loot balance.
They know full well a trinket like resonant reservoir is useless in raids compared to m+ because the trash is rather irrelevant in a raid and on bosses a trinket like that is pretty irrelevant as well for healers. In m+ on the other hand? It can deal quite a sizeable amount of damage.
The Mechagon rings as an example.
Raiders want those, but they can’t get them from raiding .
Same for certain items that have BiS secondary statt priority. Might drop from M+ but not from Raids.
I am confused why you are even talking to me about this.
I was trying to tell them 50 replies ago exactly that.
Didn’t work, so I try it in their “lingo”
No, this is not limited to high mythic+ content. Gear carries people, and some people need more gear to properly practice their own limits. Some people can do +15 with ilvl 295, while others can do +20 with 295. The difference is that if you give the +15 player 5 ilvls, they’ll be able to do +16 or +17 keys, and while doing so, practice higher than they would before.
By giving someone the tools to push higher, they can teach themselves to get better. Just because some people do +30 keys with a 302 ilvl, doesn’t mean that people that need 302 to do +25 keys suddenly don’t deserve it and get stuck at 298 for some arbitrary reason.
