I’m sure if it was kept secret and private, no-one would be bothered to utter a word because it simply isn’t public. It’s 2 adults exposing what they do in that whisper, and then are acting surprised when others find it distasteful. On a server like Argent Dawn, it ruins a guilds credibility and reputation (as you can see from this thread), which is likely why Sangoma wanted no trace of it in the guild out of that very fear.

You can disagree with the witchhunt all you want, but if you ask me it’s almost entirely self inflicted.

How is it any different from revenge prawn ? 2 adults do something under the idea of intimacy, then one, for whatever reason, leaks it to cause negative consequences for the other.

In both cases you’re bullying people for something that has nothing to do with you and hurts no one, so there’s definitely a comparison.

I already told you why. You come saying ‘this is bad’ and there’s no point trying to use opinion to fight opinion. We’d just go in circles.

If they don’t flaunt it about shamelessly, keep it private, etc, then I have very little issue with it.

If it was just one supposedly scorned who knows what that decided to expose their former partner in crime, then that’s the one that requires a :poop: to be flung at their heads.

That in mind, I still stick with the opinion that if people wanna ERP they can just do it via Discord, Skype, Teamspeak, Email, or carrier pigeons instead of putting it on the actual game where slipups can happen.

Dunno why drama around ERP always comes down to the morals of it.

It’s super trashy to ERP publicly, or to make public reference to that ERP.
Not to mention that people who make an identity around themselves as portrayers of “smut” are usually ticking drama timebombs anyway.
Can’t blame someone for catching wind of that and wanting nothing to do with it.

The only “erp drama scandals.” you hear about are the ones where the erp’ers got caught with their pants down.
