You still need 2 bwl lockouts, you cant do the red scepter within the same as you kill broodlord. At least not without using a exploit to open the gate after vael.
It seems you have a greater problem understanding how the chain works than I first imagined or you’re trolling. Either way, it can be completed within a week and if you believe otherwise, that’s okay - don’t think anybody really values your opinion anyway here or on your realm.
It can be completed in three days or less if you start on a tuesday but I think the point is that it can’t be completed before the first raid reset a week after the start of phase 5.
" The Questline consists of a total of 32 quests and many of them will require groups of 40 people to complete. The theoretical least amount of time you can complete this would be 7 days , because you will have to wait for a weekly reset at one point."
From the guide you linked. 7 days 2 lockouts.
Care to explain how you talk to vael and start the red scepter chain after having killed broodlord then?
Unlock servers & open transfer for people with existing characters on that server.
Preferrably reduce the amount of layers
But atleast give us an update!
i can explain it for you cause you seem to have 0 IQ, go into BWL and clear it, ok? 1 week later (1 lockout = 1 week) and then clear BWL and there you have it, your quest is complete in 1 week = 1 lockout!
Yes just have your DPS deal less damage because your tank can’t generate enough threat because he’s not using the correct gear
Dont think you should talk that loud about someones IQ. What you are explaining there is 2 lockouts. Which is exactly what ive been saying and you guys argued against.
its ok bro, we get it, you’re stupid, no need to continue
So you saying the exact same thing as i did, and im stupid? Wont that make you stupid as well?
It’s quite simple, if released on a Wednesday (Wich patches did back in the day) you would need atleast 7days. BUT it’s due to release on a Tuesday, so you raid on Tuesday after patch go live. Then reset on Wednesday and you raid again.
Just for info:
Real pvp players play alliance!
Horde is for the noobs who need op racials and more players in their own faction to have an easy life.
I switched from Horde to Alliance because of this!
What are you talking about?
You guys are arguing two different concepts:
Depending on when the serves come online on Wednesday, July 29, it might be possible to save your BWL ID for the early morning, get the broodlord quest first thing as the serer comes on in a patched state (04:00 GMT or so), clear to Broodlord, get the head, wait for the instance reset at 7:00 GMT (9 am server time), and then have the entire server faction funnel their carapace pieces to a single person, who will then get the red scepter shard from vael>nef sometime on late wednesday evening/ early thursday mornin, depending on just how many spawn points in the hives you can spawn camp.
But then, even if while you clear for the broodlord head in the early morning, somebody else hands in all the prefarmed mats for both Horde and Alliance, it still thakes 4-5 days for the npc’s to move into Silithus so you can do the final quest step and bang the gong. Will this be done in reality? I highly doubt it.
However, in practice, I think it will take many days to get the required fragments/rep to proceed with the quests, there are limited spawns and MANY people interested in being a scarab lord. In fact, I have some doubts whether it will even be done within the first 7 day reset on any server at all; maybe one of the less populated PvE realms? Possibly.
All that being said, basically, the quest indeed CAN be completed in less than 7 days in theory. Will it be? Who knows? I doubted Rag will die in first reset too, yet I was proven wrong. It will surely be interesting “race” for fragments.
Edit: it is also possible that Blizz will delay the spawn of relevant NPC’s until 9am server time on July 29th, thus guaranteeing the earliest possible time to open the gates will be around 10-11am server time on August 5th. In fact, now that I think about it, this is exceedingly likely.
Edit 2: Damn, it actually says it will be delayed in the blue up top. I am a dummy. So yeah, 7days and 1-2hours at the absolute minimum.
What you said would be true about BWL but the blue clearly states that it will go live with the normal raid reset. So unless that’s false there is no room to argue that you will need at least 2 lockouts to finish.
Edit: I’m really curious of how much time it will take to open it at the earliest and the rat race in Silithus for the fragments will be a sight to behold that’s for certain.
Damn, you beat me to the edit.
Don’t worry, if you just refuse to believe all the guides and everybody else in general, you can never be wrong!
Yeah I read the US posted Wich was released earlier, it said 28th so that’s why I misspoke
Wait, does this actually mean the “trick” I described above can be done on US realms but not on EU realms? If so /golfclap Blizz.
EDIT: The Ahn’Qiraj content will unlock with the weekly raid reset on July 28 for all realms in this region.
So yeah, they get it with their own reset. According to https://raidreset.com/
, that’s exactly 15 hours before EU. Not as bad as a week, but still rip world first
