The OP clearly said that he had no main rio connected to his alt. What he should do? Hand check each and every one that applies to see IF they have a good alt? Really? Don’t tell me anyone is doing that cause it’s a lie.

Would you pick someone with 0 score just because he has gear? I would not. If anything high gear and low score shows they are either boosted or they leave keys.

The guy was NOT declined. He was simply not chosen. Not like he was invited on his alt and kicked for a better tank…

And last but not least. No matter what, the behaviour he showed was disgusting. You didn’t get picked up for a key, ignore that and sign for the next… You are NOT entitled to someone else’s key. (And before anyone say anything, I believe that despite waiting for hours in queue as DPS). Joining a key just to ruin it because you did not get picked on an alt it’s disgustingly low behaviour that should not be a thing unless you are on the very early school classes.

I just had some 2.2k guy flame me for “doing low dps” when the tank didn’t ever stand still on trash so I could actually get some damage going out.

Chances are definitely higher someone with a score is a better/more experienced M+ player than someone without a score.

oh dont even start on the amount of 2.2k+ tanks dragging mobs out of wild spirits for 0 reason but them jumping around like idiots when there is not hard itting cleave on them ^^

i use binding shot much more to prevent that lately then to deal with actual mechanics

1 soa run i was counting and before key broken tank dragged 5 groups out of 8 of of my wild spirits even though i asked them not to do that.

OP had every right to decline this tank, it’s their key, the fact that the tank went out of their way to ruin the key on another character is just petty and completely deserve a punishment imo.

Yes 15s are not that hard but it’s not an excuse.

Oh boy, you should’ve seen SoA19 yesterday on an alt, was at 10.5k on my war, second dps was 8.9k dps, third at…6k dps, guess who turned out to be toxic and left the key when I called them out?

My point is that the score means absolutely nothing when we’re talking about lower scores. It’s only up towards 2600ish that you’ll actually be able to tell that their knowledge about the game is at a higher level than someone at a lower score.

Calling out is usually a negative. With a negative someone is not going to play better. Usually worse.

Looking at my guild our 2.2 definitely shows in comparison to the non M+ players, or the ones on ~+13. I did an alt key yesterday on a +13 with guildies. I tell you, the score shows.

2600? No way lol, I watch a few M+ only players like Plka daily and even them make mistakes. That being said for sure they make less mistakes than other people but that’s not about the score, that’s because they’ve done a ton of keys.

Last season I timed 950 keys, this season I’m already at almost 200 keys timed and my highest rio is my main at 2320, my two alts that I play the most are 2220-2230 rio and I can tell you I know all the dungeons by heart, I know exactly what to kick, where to stand, etc; it’s about experience.

This is pretty much my experience every bolstering week when there’s some guy around 2k-2.3kish on an alt tank:

We wipe.
