Score is a useless metric when it’s not really high.
Agree to disagree then.
Here’s how it happened, SoA 19, we’re coming to the third boss, timer is really short, balance druid with 2350 rio starts becoming toxic, the tank tells them “chill please let’s finish this” and I add “Especially with 6k dps”, we pull and the balance druid gets stomped by the boss after 15 sec and leaves.
I don’t regret one second calling them out, they were starting to act like a complete , complaining and flaming eventho they played extremely poorly.
Yeah i just keep stuff positive. I would be the tank in that group. Just ‘chill we are fine’.
The morons around here are talking about “karma” and other stupidities, but the truth is none of them would take that tank without seeing their score.
There is absolutely no reason to take anyone to a +15 who doesn’t have at least close the score to that dungeon level.
99% of time when you invite a person with a lower score to a higher key, they end up underperforming. This is especially egregious in case of tanks and healers.
This person didn’t link his main to his alt, hence there’s no reason to think he’s able to do this key.
What a load of hypocritical nonsense. Do you yourself go out of your way to invite lower scored and lower geared people for your m+ pugs (if you even pug at all)?
If you don’t you have zero business making such a reply as you did!
Usually I don’t do that either, that person was just so annoying I couldn’t help myself…
The key was dead anyway, idk how someone with 2350rio can do only 6k dps.
Tbh the people with high IO are most of the of time the worst ones, who ignore the mechanics for DPS, quit because DPS is lower than him on a +4.
I sort of used to do that when I formed pug raids a few years back. I’d set an ilvl req relative to the loot and not check any third party site.
then again, my goal was to play the game, not to get free loot in an overgeared braindead farm rush
Bruh, I do that on my hunter at ilvl 218. It annoys me so much when I’m healing to see people doing so low damage when my hunter is much lower ilvl than them and are pulling more dps than them.
Seems more than enough for me. We timed a spires 18 with this dps;
Warcraft Logs - Combat Analysis for Warcraft
People don’t seem to have sorted it in their head that 2k means a lot less after the change. It’s literally less than KSM now. In season 1, 2k score meant having at least 5 20s and 3 19s all timed. Now it’s just 15s/16s with a few depletes.
Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Listen to yourself.
Elitist.
I applaud his actions.
Tbh what you’re saying is not true. People with higher rio score in my experience tend to respect the mechanics much more and struggle with DPS less.
On the other hand, this season I have been joining a number of pugs where one person is of lower rio (presumption is they are being carried by their higher rio friend who has the key). And as I said, in vast majority of runs this person is a burden to the group because they lack micro capability and aren’t aware of the incoming damage from trash abilities on higher keys.
In LFG you get 50 thousands applications. You ignore most of them. That is not elitist.
We just got a complete new scoring system. I have no idea why people even try to compare s1 and s2 scores
What the hell is wrong with you? Should everyone who doesn’t get invited to the first group they sign up to just ruin people’s keys now?
And by not inviting his alt but inviting his main you expected what?
That he would close the eyes.
He was a tank.
I SERIOUSLY doubt he got a load of tank applications.
And it’s more his statement that is elitist.
‘it’s not rejecting, it’s ignoring’. That’s not any better, is it?!
In all honesty having to do detective work for a mere m+ is kinda too much.
The tank was an a-hole. And the OP has the right to pick any criteria for their key.
People calling this “karma”: show me proof you take an inexperienced tank in your 15s. I’ll be waiting for your screenshots. What a bunch of white knights you all are.
He was a tank with 0 score.
