Congrats, already feeling like beta tester?
Thanks for the response.
I had not even checked my bags when I posted what I did above and now having had more time in game find the same thing.
When I posted what I did above I had only spent a small amount of time playing around with moving the UI to try and make it fit in a sensible way and was not able to.
I also find the text in the talent tree unreadable. For that I have to resort to using the Microsoft zoom tool that is built into Windows. I have to zoom it in 300% to make it readable.
I am sure there are other things that I am yet to come across. I have not yet checked things like the auction house or other vendors within the game for example.
I whole heartedly agree with this. For me they do not need to increase quest window size. They just need to allow us to increase the size of the text much like we can do with the chat text where we can increase the size of the font.
I do not understand why it is that they have not placed an option in the main settings to increase the size of all text within the game for those who struggle with their sight.
Instead of giving your input in this way, how about you think about what your saying? People pay money to play this game monthly or every half a year or so.
So to bring up a defence like: āiTs 0nLy tH3 1sT daYā is a piss poor piece of defence. People who asked for this change are even unhappy with the apparent rushed nature of this ānewā UI if you hadnāt yet noticed. Try playing with the same, proven UI you had for 17 years and then suddenly BOOM! Gone, without a trace. See how you feel.
Wasted 15k on a bag that cant be equipped
Ah yes, the forty other posts didnt cover your statement yet.
Gotcha.
Most other posts I saw didnāt even talk about the eyesight problem which I mentioned in my post.
Kind of makes you think who really played beta. We had the same with shadowlands so many bugs that people didnāt report heck I even saw a spelling mistake on the new talent trees, lazy. I play on a laptop and I struggle to see the icons on the new talent trees. I agree font is tiny overall not just the talent trees all of the icons, take the clock for example itās like they donāt want to remind us we have played for 8 hours straightā¦
I donāt mind the UI overall as itās pretty clean but some of these issues should have been sorted out through beta no?
I still had an old Cenarion herb bag in my bank but donāt you expect it to be equipable. Besides, the new bag icons look horribly tiny and are almost unrecognisable if youāre playing via flatscreen.
*or tried to fix the UI for hours, so that afterwards, you barely have the muse to actually play anymore⦠I agree that the minimap-clock relation is ridiculous. I barely can read the location tag and the vertical sidebar doesnāt harmonize greatly with the huge map circle either. The chat frame apparently canāt be resized and is overlapped by the spell bar. The raid frame looks off too, no matter which width and height you choose and whoever had the brilliant idea to remove the ornamental frame from avatar icons and map clearly has no respect for the culty little design elements that make a fantasy interface.
When game quality and development sucks major gigantic balls there absolutely needs to be reckoning.
It does, and that is exactly why I dont like it.
Also the fact that you have to do it over and over again, cause it seems to like to bug out, does not exactly help.
I really wish they would just add the option to put the old standard UI back on.
Just noticed⦠my pet doesnt have a target frame with this new uiā¦
I miss ny Dominoās and z-perl⦠but so far almost every addon bugs out with the new ui interface
Sighā¦
bump hihihihi
There are a lot more issues with the UI, this thread has a quite a few also:
Wish somebody would make a huge mega thread of all the bugs and issues with the new UI. Canāt beleive they are repeating the same mistakes AGAIN and not listening to player feedback.
But yeah, itās not acceptable for the new UI to come in this terrible state after beta ātestingā
Because there are problems which need fixing. The bags is one example. Another is the experience/reputation bar not being able to scale/move/hide. What if I have 13/14 bar buttons and I canāt move resize the experience/reputation bar??? What if the bar is just increased and the experience/reputation bar stays at the same spot. Blizzard have not think things well.
Love the new interface. Thanks Blizzard
Which sound kinda stupid as a solution, since the goal of this new ui was to cut dependency from addons.
But hey, small indie company. Get 95% close to greatness and fail at the last minute is kinda their specialty.
There are people literally against a new lift in their buildings, simply because they dont have a wheelchair.
Their idea is to let the person unable to walk move to a new place, instead stepping out of their own comfort zone and look further than the tip of their nose.
To ask for sympathy and understanding in 2022 is a lost case sadly.
Our society is just so messed up.
We need a thousand threads about it or they wonāt give the people what they want !!! i will be unsubscribing if itās not changed it is not cool
This is not an airport, no need to announce your departure <3
Are you 16, grow up or get a job.
