Assuming what you say is true and we actually try to keep these people away, we seem to be doing a really bad job at it. They keep joining our groups. What are we doing wrong? Am I too nice?
But, there aren’t too many mechanics. If anything, many packs could use MORE.
And some can’t even master that repetition “skil”…
This thread is a gold mine.
Perfect representation of a shock of generation, please keep going I have more popcorn to eat!
Abit ironic for OP to whine about delves and delve players skipping low keys, when he had completed the 100 delves achievement himself after only a month of TWW release. He clearly did the exact same himself.
OP is a hardcore delve player himself.
Also, in past expansions there was always alot of newbs/awful players in low keys, especially mid-late season. This is not something new or brought on due to delves.
Delves should be nerfed to quest level. It’s ridiculous that players can skip the proper dungeon progression path. Should not happen. Delves should not have levels, they should be like pandaria scenarios - you do them once and forget about it. That’s the way it should be.
The same should be done about M+. They should not exist. Dungeon should be present in one difficulty.
And raid should be present in one difficulty as well. Look at classic. It’s tremendous success.
Instead of introducing artificial difficulty with billion levels, just rework the game for world pvp.
I don’t get it. Where is the connection? It doesn’t matter how many delves I ever did because I don’t suck in dungeons afterwards.
Well, guess I can partially agree with that. They could use more diverse mechanics, but not more in total; now we have a lot of frontals and tons of casts, some of which absolutely have to be interrupted and others that should be interrupted but don’t have to be - as long as the tank/healer can live through it (debuffs/buffs). Instead of that many casts, there could be other mechanics with which everyone can deal other than by preventing them from happening with an interrupt of which we don’t have enough.
Big post, teeny weeny brain.
Maybe the solution would be to combine/split and create new realms based on players traits. We could have: -
- Sweat-daria for try-hard min-max’ers
- Chill-tiras for the easy going casuals
- Pretendimdor for the role players
- Draessor for the moggers
- War-thrend for the die hard PVP’ers
- Pout-land for the toxic, intolerant elitists that talk down to the others
Ah, I remember when this exact topic used to have “raiders” and “random BG goers” before “delve nubs” became a thing. There has always been a group of “super casuals” bleeding into “hardcore” content… because why not?
The PuG scene can hardly be picky, especially this abysmal gamemode (whom I enjoy myself).
When you complete 11 tier level delve you get ~606 ilvl item. On a damage spec with ~606 ilvl you die from two spell attacks in a 11 tier delve.
That means if you miss two interrupts in 11 tier, you are dead.
This post is factually incorrect and should be removed
If you miss two interrupts you should not be present in a Mythic+ dungeon. Thank you for making my argument even more correct than it was before. Didn’t think that was possible.
Elitism won’t be validated through blame of options for people to gear. It is the chaos, frustration and stress of being timed, alongside the toxicity of the M+ player base and the monotonous repetition of the same dungeon all season that pushes people to gear in other (possibly more enjoyable) ways because it removes all of these factors.
Keep your parsing and elitist rants. If you have such a fab time on your main +10s, stick to them.
You’re missing the point. They could be given free 639 gear in Delves to have fun in the open world with or whatever. It doesn’t matter. I just don’t think it is a good experience for anyone involved when they suddenly join +10s without ever having steadily learned what to do in there, ruining the run for themselves and 4 other people in the process.
What has one to do with the other? Nothing. WLs have a terribly long CD on interupts, so he literally CAN’T kick everything one would need to kick. Same goes for all classes except maybe prot pala in M+, even if a group coordinates their interrupts per voice, some classes have a long CD and it won’t be possible to kick everything… so guess we should all stop playing M+, eh?
We were talking about literally missing interrupts, but feel free to complain to Blizzard about their faulty class design.
Don’t think that’s right. You interpreted it that way, but I doubt that’s what the WL meant, based on the cenario he discribes. Caster spiders in delves cast almost non stop, WL has a long cd for interrupt, so even if he uses all the interrupts he can, there’s a high chance of “missing” two.
Interrupts get missed all the time. People double up on one or a little micro stun can happen and that means yours got wasted.
Stop with the garbage posts please. I’ve not checked but I’ll bet my house you’re in that “cryhard” bracket where everything that goes wrong is someone elses fault “hOw CaN u MisS iNtErUPTs!?”
WLs have plenty of ways to interrupt and outplay mobs. He just didn’t like getting 2-shot by a caster he could have dealt with when played correctly.
