The pay to win boost must go

Playing on a different server will not change my opinion on the idiotic boost.

No that’s it for me.
I’ve already unsubbed, uninstalled Classic and removed Battle Net.
I’m done with Blizzard

then why are you still here,on blizzard forums?

Because my sub hasn’t run out yet.
Its not hard to think

When I quit a game I always go to the forums to tell people, coz they’ll miss me if I don’t.

Can I have your stuff?

When I quit a game there is usually a pretty big reason behind it.
I’m expressed my opinion on this multiple times.
I’m sorry you’re unable to see past the end of your nose

This aint runescape u dumdum.

The boost gear apparently isn’t even finalized.
We’ll have to see what they really end up with, but I’d rather end up with no boost at all.

Were getting dungeon blues. Blizzard said it themselves.

Blizzard keeps doing 180s quite often.
Remember their drum statement from Blizzcon?
Versus our situation now with the drums.

I say lets wait and see.

They’re not trying to get you to buy drums. If the gear is terrible it might but some people off. Blizzard like money, they just want to see how good a start they can give these chars without the community erupting.

I’m totally fine with boosts if they use a small part of the money for that boost to have a game master check if that player is botting a week after the boost. Takes like 5min, I don’t know the salary of a gamemaster but if the boosts are 30€ or so, I don’t think the gamemasters cost them 360€ per hour.
There’s currently 20 lvl 60 guildless rogues in Blackrock Depths on horde side on Mirage Raceway, they could use one of these checks too. And no worries, you can check them tomorrow too, they’re always there at 5am.

It takes 3 months on average give or take for the average person who works full time (40 hours/week) to level to 60, and because you work full time you’re not always in the mood to spend the 1-3 hours of free time after you get home from work that you have before you end up having to go to bed to be up and ready for work the next day, playing WoW.

When you get home I shower then cook and eat my dinner before starting up WoW, that’s maybe an hour or more of my minimal free time after work gone right there already. If you have a family or partner then good luck because that free time you have is even less. If you’re doing dungeons a lot of that minimal free time can also be taken up by just trying to get a group together too.

WoW is a game that requires significant investment to make any sort of meaningful progress, when you work full time and onl have a couple of hours potentially to play after work, it’s easy to get into the mindset of “well I only have two hours, I doubt I’ll be able to get much done in that time, I think I’ll just watch some TV instead”.

Plus this is content that we will have already done before, why wouldn’t you want to skip 3 months or more worth of content to boost?

It’s ridiculous to see them make the same mistake with WoW over and over again since the latest xpacks. They constantly try to make a “new WoW” by making old content like it’s just an obstacle to get rid of asap (level boost, no journey at all, just pure grind to max level), while focusing EVERYTHING into the new endgame…

There’s no expansions to WoW, cause they always try to make the previous buildups to the point of the new expansion meaningless and even skippable with money -_-"

It’s not “World of Warcraft: Shadowlands”, it’s just “Shadowlands”. And that mentality of how they approach the modern game again shows in how they treat classic TBC… not as an expansion to the base game, but as it’s completely own world in itself, and that is a HUGE MISTAKE! (that they just love repeating apparently)

Please for the love of god… DON’T PUT THE BOOST IN CLASSIC WOW! Be it TBC or the Vanilla Classic, get it the hell out of the old games, it has NO PLACE THERE!

Unlike modern the classics were so good BECAUSE they all tied together, and there was a journey all throughout the whole leveling of your character, to the point where eventually you reach the endgame, and EARN it!

Please don’t do this.

Remove the boost please, players that currently play the game do not want this and if players only want to play tbc because of the boost then they will quit shortly after reaching 70.

So, as far as you’re concerned the game is a race that needs to be completed as quickly as humanly possible, rushing and racing through content at maximum speed in order to ‘compete’ with other players?

Why else would you be concerned about the amount of time it takes to level?

Since we are friends now, i should be the one who is getting your gold :grinning:

Ok, serious, if you really are quitting why are you even making all these threads? You should know that Blizzard does not care, only i care if you leave. You must stay on the forums or else it is boring here and i think i will leave forums as well.

Nice post, but telling this to lorran will have 0 positive effect

I don’t recall being asked to participate in any kind of poll or census? did I miss my invite? I’ve been playing WoW Classic since day one, across all servers I’ve about 11 level 60’s more level 50+ chars and I am absolutely pro-boost.

Do you have any evidence to support this? I assume somewhere you have data and charts and just forgot to share them? some of my friends hated WoW so much back in the day that they purchased their level 60 chars from 3rd party auction sites and played well into WoTLK, now there’s a safe, in-game method for them to do this, where the owners of the IP profit.

Even if you’re right, can I ask why it’s a bad thing? Blizzard will have got a few months sub and the cost of the boost from these players, in every game ever there are those that start to play and then quit, hell, if I had to start again, I’d never make it to 60 without quitting.

You can just…level yourself? It’ll only take a few days.
There is nothing this 58 boost offers that is not obtainable through ingame effort and it’s not even a lot of effort.

oh yeah its pretty much the exact same thing right, save for the fact you don’t spend days leveling up.

you know what the boost offers that playing normally doesn’t?
saved time and effort.
i mean you said it yourself. how can you say something and then immediately contradict yourself in the same sentece? are you stupid m8?

even the expansion is being provided free of charge instead of the one of cost that it originally had (nobody seems to mind that change).

are you seriously saying we should all pay for a game we bought long ago twice?
are you… like… what the hell man? how can you justify paying twice for the same game?!
are you out to toss your money in the sewer or what? because i’ll gladly part you from the money you seem so eager to throw away.

Well clowns like you are expecting Blizzard to do what you want, not what Blizzard wants.
So yeah, maybe you need to stop demanding, shut the hell up, and be happy that wow classic technically has no sub cost, and no expansion cost. Because it’s not just a button and let it run, Blizzard is putting man hours and work into it which usually requires people getting paid.
And in reply to your reply to me, are you seriously upset cause a boost saves you time which playing won’t? Obviously playing won’t save you time, and any normal human being wouldn’t assume that either so as far as i’m concerned there’s no contradiction, just a stupid clown making stupid remarks.

You’re not the usual troll/clown though, are you new? Name doesn’t ring a bell.
