The pay to win boost must go

Well clowns like you are expecting Blizzard to do what you want, not what Blizzard wants.

absolutely not, i am expecting blizzard to do what they said they would do… you know… the entire reason people became interested in classic because they promised an authentic experience and all that? me and many others are simply trying to hold blizzard to their word.

Because it’s not just a button and let it run, Blizzard is putting man hours and work into it which usually requires people getting paid.

Hah. could have fooled me tbh. i’d be surprised if there’s a single game master in the game at the moment, and issues were addressed by actual human hands rather than a flawed AI that fails to catch even the most obvious bots and cheaters.
and if you think all that money they make are going back into the game, then you’re clearly ignorant of reality. Big Bobby just had another 3 digit million bonus not too long ago.

are you seriously upset cause a boost saves you time which playing won’t?

Yes.

Obviously playing won’t save you time, and any normal human being wouldn’t assume that either so as far as i’m concerned there’s no contradiction, just a stupid clown making stupid remarks.

well that’s kind of the point y’know… a boost means you are skipping a big part of the game, it doesn’t live up to the promise of authenticity blizzard made when they announced classic and the fact you can just swipe your credit card for instant gratification is literally the reason people avoid retail and play classic, so the fact they are planning to implement it in any way, shape or form is terrible news, because i guarantee you that they won’t stop at a “one time lvl 58 boost”… they are merely dipping their toes in the water to test the temperature, and when they have observed the playerbase’s reactions and the drama dies down a little, they seize the moment and implement more unwanted features for real money.

You’re not the usual troll/clown though, are you new? Name doesn’t ring a bell.

nah im just not very active on the forums for the most part. i usually binge read and reply to a lot of posts about once every week or two. also i only use this avatar for posting because posting on my main got some guild officers panties in a bunch back in the day.

Speak for yourself, I am currently paying for the game, and I don’t care if there is a boost or not.

Tldr please. I only read the last part where you say you’re afraid of posting on main because of what people think. I never take these people seriously sorry.

oh i’m sorry. reading is too hard for you?
don’t even bother engaging in discussion then. bye bye!
i’m literally addressing what you said point by point and your big brain comeback is TL;DR

nice

/slowclap.

Judging from all the swear words and insulting in most of your posts that I’ve seen this morning you won’t be around for much longer so rather not waste my time discussing anything with you.

swear words huh?
name an example?

I’ve seen some asterisks, and I’ve been banned for less, so I expect equal treatment for all forum users.

Nice try

so self-censoring = swearing???
the asterisks could mean anything, its up to the interpretation of the reader.
now, i’m not going to play dumb and pretend that i’m not implying what you think i’m implying, but the fact of the matter is that i am not technically swearing.

if i say “WHAT THE ****” does that constitute swearing?.. i could be saying “WHAT THE FLUX” for all you know… that’s the beauty of asterisks.

I wouldn’t ban you for that. But I have masked the f word with asterisks, could be firetruck or any other f word. Still got banned.
The bots or forum mods don’t check context, they see asterisks or a bad word, and you’re getting banned.

I can try to find the email which stated that even masking the words count as bad words. These forums are ruled by sjw and pc police.

sounds like a moderation issue to me.
what if i chose to speak in code, using only 1’s and 0’s? would the bots/forum mods pick up on that? because i doubt it.

I think the sub cost is technicaly the same as it is for retail seeing as atleast a few people dont care at all about retail so I could say that retail have no sub cost as well if you say classic have no sub cost

There is no extra cost, yet everything about classic and tbc is extra content.

But for the people who dont care about retail its just the same sub fee and personaly as someone who actually had quit wow and I thought it was for good a few years ago I see retail as the nice little bonus I get for free with my sub (other than expansions for retail ofc) I wouldnt have even taken a look at shadowlands if I didnt have a active sub becouse of classic so for me the sub fee is there for classic mainly

Well… I generally agree with that…

…however, at least in my case, I did buy Vanilla, TBC, WotLK, Cata, MoP, WoD, BfA (skipped Legion and quit retail b4 Shadowlands), so I kinda chose to think I am entitled to get Classic and TBC just for paying my monthly subscription fee.

After all, I bought both way back when, If ya feel what I’m saying

This is ofc only my opinion, and extremely self centered.

And that’s what it all boils down to. People want the boost for no other reason than they can’t be bothered to level.

If anyone here thinks that catering to people who ‘can’t be bothered’ is the key to good game design then they’re living in cloud cuckoo land.

i’m not sure you read my post right. i am vehemently anti-boost. i was simply explaining to someone else how a boost is literally a straight up pay2win advantage and that it can be measured in time saved (as opposed to invested in leveling) and that it takes literally no effort in the process, and grants you an instant reward.

Can’t be bothered doing old content*

All of Classic is ‘old content’, that’s the whole point.
