What do you think about other raids? Are they significantly easier including Naxxramas and will be pugged? Or they’ll be challenging enough for average player?
The game is stupid:
I’ve entered MC with roughly +150 healing, just from doing BRD for levelling. Compare this to actual Vanilla where the only option was full wildheart, yet despite this updated itemisation there’s still no keyring?
Dungeons are stupidly easy, you should not be able to faceroll 4 mob scarlet packs in Strat live with zero CC and one mage.
25 man Onyxia at this stage of the server is stupid
It was never hard in Vanilla. Players were just extremely bad from current point of view. Look at world first Ragnarok kill on retail (its on YouTube), its almost funny
This is the catch all excuse to use whenever you want to try and cover for Blizzard being incredibly lazy with Classic.
Is a thing.
I’d disagree.
Okay. Why?
They never told they would make any changes. It was known long ago it would be 1.12 version of the game. It is not an excuse, Classic simply isn´t difficult because it never was.
And that is the other excuse. That Vanilla was never difficult so then there must be no harm in making it even easier.
I mean classic has been done wrong with all the 1.12 stuff but you picked like the least important, pettiest issues to put on your list >_<
my list would look like:
16 debuff slots
1.12 classes
1.12 itemisation
Low elite damage values
Thieves from private servers teach Blizzard how to make games.
it is broken in some areas. but so have all the private servers been aswell(because they’re not run by a legit entity).
That is an exaggeration at least. There wasn’t a hardcore raiding community that had been built/grown and there was a lot of people who are current players who were noobs at the time sure.
But early content was always seen as just early content difficulty wise. Its easier because of itemisation and perhaps because of talents but it wouldnt have been hard enough to satisfy the minority that like raids to be exceptionally difficult.
Well I’m still leveling casually but I can definitely tell that mobs and esp elites do pathetic damage compared to what I’d expect of them… It’s kinda sad that blizz made this game such a faceroll…
I think Naxx will be pretty close to what we know from Pservers. AQ40 is 50/50 in my head, Cthun will still be a gatekeeper.
We are thinking of doing a 10 man…
Because it took them a month to fix it, when we discovered it on 40-45 beta.
I don’t have a problem with 1.12 classes, I struggle with the other parts of it. Another issue that people still haven’t caught on to is the buffcap nerfed to 24 buffs rather than 32.
Thieves that spent thousands of hours looking at 240p videos trying to dicern proper historical behaviour.
To be fair on the very last thing you said, I would have imagined the blizzard devs like Ion would have kept high quality videos of some of their raid encounters.
But I guess thats more of a no-life player thing to do.
Cool beans.
So we can safely take the Ferals, Enhancers and co with us after all?
Most people couldn’t record video while rading during those times. Even if, that’s a long time to keep a video archive.
Semi- hardcore guilds could always do this… Within reason
Yeah I guess. I suppose Classic might show to other online games that update all the time to archive their stuff properly though, not just incase of a scenario like Classic but if you end up in Blizzards situation with a game that has 15 years of changes, then the harder it is to recall why certain changes happened or etc.
This is true of course but these two should not even be in the same ballpark. One is a group of hobbyists working on the game and the service is free. The other is a multi billion dollar corporation, the original developer, and a commercial product. Really there should be no excuses for the latter.
Right. So i just spend almost 5 hours in Stratholme. And we died only like 5 times.
It has to be 10 hours or something ? Dude , what are you smoking ?
Yeah, so can we ditch the “within reason” now?
If yes, I’d actually consider that a good thing.
