And you did not mention another difference between Pservers and Blizzard. Corrupt GMs, exploits that didn’t get banned and so on.
Feel free to return to whatever servers you like. I am surprised this pservers were better post took THIS long to appear.

If you set aside the trivial/subjective/guessed issues it pretty much boils down to “it’s too easy”.
Ofc it is to you, when you’ve been playing for years already on servers using “best guess” numbers that it turns out were probably too high - intentionally or not. You’ve cleared the content so much that it was always going to be trivial anyway.
For you guys it’s gonna be about ultra minmaxing and pvp - which actually exists because of the number of players and ultimately an MMO is nothing without a healthy amount of players. By that metric alone classic is far superior to any pserver.

It’s not very smart to admit to playing on private servers on the official forums, considering it’s violating the ToS.

No tuning based on private servers of course but I would like tuning based on the actual original game. Right now we are playing a very warped version that does not match any point of time in the original.

That’s honestly exactly how I remember not only all the private server experiences I’ve had but even when it was on retail.
They have reviewed this and put out a “not a bug list” saying that the leeway is consistent with their test client or whatever. Not saying if it is or not but that’s the official stance on that.

Especially all the records from elitshjerks site back then . For all the current games fault Ion was bang on about classic/vanilla and the first person to work out some fights could not be done due to maths.

My thoughts exactly, OP. As for right now wow Classic feels just like a Blizzard endorsed private server with a different set of issues. Oh and the “streamer” beta was a complete disaster, it was basically a PR event to promote the game and not to test it. If Blizzard will continue on like this i think we will see a Nostalrius 2.0 pretty soon, and i don’t see myself playing Blizzard’s version of the game.

The main thing that concerned me so far I’ve been casually farming SM GY on my priest yesterday… SOLO! x)
And I’m now lvl 34, I don’t do the last boss though because the last packs are annoying.
But I am able to solo the first boss and rare bosses like Azshir etc.
I feel like dungeons I’ve been doing so far are very undertuned, but it’s ok. I just hope the endgame dungeons will be a bit better but reading here that doesn’t seem the case.
On the positive side? if people claim it’s so easy you can atleast take some extra ret paladins, moonkins etc.
and if anyone was wondering my build on priest is 5 improved wand rest of the points in shadow
Dude, look at asmon’s first ragnaros kill. The lock wasn’t even capable of properly timing banish on adds. In early vanilla that was most probably a wipe and the warlock being kicked from the raid. If you see more videos of their MC you can see too many missplays from the raid, but a tuned down version of MC is forgiving that bag of mistakes
