1 daily per day then 3 randoms every 3 days and a huge chunk of rep for storyline in dreadwastes means you could have got exalted in 2 weeks.

The point is that they took time and effort to get
no it didnt 2 weeks is quick and MoP was so easy to earn rep, you even had tokens that dropped from mobs.

Even if it was 2 weeks, which I can’t exactly remember but hey I have ADHD and autismnso yeah my memory isn’t the greatest, 2 weeks is still having to put effort in, and from what I remember you had to fish an awful lot just to fish up one token or whatever it was

You are thinkng of the special Nat Pegal one the general water striders could be got easy. Nat took 26days with his dailies so about a month still wasnt hard work as you had 2 dailies and had to fish his desired fish for the day.

Yeah, that’s exactly the ones I’m talking about, once again, it is still effort required
2 dailies per day is effort ? and 10 fish? i guess you have no idea of the real grinds we have had in WoW prior early wotlk when everything became easy.

Of course it is effort, buying from trading post requires absolutely zero effort.
You see, some people didn’t get the mount, because they didn’t put in the effort. Anything where you have to go and do dailies, fish and whatever else… that is the definition of effort, doing nothing, isn’t
Tbf when something starts feeling mandatory and like a chore, calling it “effort” sounds reasonable imo. Logging in to do something because you feel you have to rather than you want to can be draining. I can’t speak of this mount in particular because it’s ugly like all insects, but I can understand working towards it but it still feeling bad.

And yes, I have every idea of the effort required early in the game, I gave up after several weeks of trying to get the wintersabre from Winterspring, but I guess you’d even argue there was no effort required there either
I dunno what planet you are on, but fishing up those tokens certainly didn’t take 10 minutes

Because fishing up tokens was how you sped up the process, I’ve no idea why people like you play either if you think trading tender requires much effort, they are just a by product of playing the game you’re already playing

The task you had to do was your friend (or urself) to pay for a sub long enough so eventually you get the mount. Kind of what the Trading Post implicates itself. Sure, the price of it currently is ridiculously low but other than that, I don’t see an issue with it being on the Trading Post.
