I did full normal raid clear yesterday with nothing other than auto button rotation, and with a pug.
Same. And the weak aura showed about 4-5 one button users in every pug. And they all did fine, not exceptional, but good enough.
Folks who will harass people with the weak aura probably have not progressed this far yet. Things might look different in a few weeks.

Reading this topic has been quite⌠revealing.
@Amonet-Ravencrest: You donât want an addon that tells you if someone is using SBA. You want an addon that analyzes a personâs logs on raider[.]io and gives you information on their effectiveness in playing mechanics correctly and using defensive cooldowns. Someone who uses SBA but also counters game mechanics and is a team player is more useful than someone who does not use SBA but doesnât use defensives, doesnât interrupt and takes a lot of avoidable damage.
Can we also get an addon that tells us if the other player has a television or 2nd monitor in their house, so that we know if they actually are focused on the game or on Netflix?

After using the weak aura to clear manaforge on multiple classes with pugs, i see absolutely no reason for it to exist. It tells you nothing of value and will only cause harassment.
Blizzard also allows warriors to wear cloth. And join keys with that gear. But you will be instantly kicked out.
Also: gear score, the old raider IO, the âlink achievementâ⌠The list of stupid reasons to judge someoneâs âskillâ is really long.
And all of them are allowed. You can exclude people by their name alone. Ir their class. And all that is allowed.
So. Are you POSITIVE you cant excude people using the 1-button macro? 
Who said harrasing? And who said âcalling outâ == harrasing???
Telling someone to use a normal rotation. Or simply kicking him out of the group with no explanation is not harassing. As the key owner, you decide who to invite.
Once they do that. You said it.
But you can sit and wait for years. Remember that blizzard wants to replace the addon functionality before removing access to the API.

Well the problem is the same for everything else.
Its not how the person performs in the key. Its about finding metrics to try and guess how much DPS will an individual do, before the they starts. Or right after it starts, but before wasting 40 min of your time.
If you provide a WA to give 1 more metric to guess that, people will use it. For good. Or bad.
But all the weak aura takes the same time to tell you if that person can perform that it takes for a DMG meter to tell you if he canât perform.
So why not base it on actual performance?

It takes about a minute for the weak aura to detect one button users. So after the first pull. Are you saying that the weak aura will make you intentionally brick keys in the first few minutes?
Using the feature dosent mean you are dissabled. The reason for being kicked out of the group has nothing to do with a dissability. Its just raw performance.
Behind the computer you could be a tetraplegic trans purple alien for all i care. All that matters is that those who use the 1 button macro, at BEST, perform at an 80%. I expect 100%. Or atleast, someone who will try to be at a 100%.

And I am personally very distrustful of anyone using the 1 button macro.
That person, prior to the existence of the macro was in lower key levels. Not because of raw performance, but because of mechanics.
I am not against that. People should have fun in a level they are comfortable in. And blizzard should provide such level.
However. More DPS allows you to get away with certain misplays in lower keys. And then, those individuals find themselves in key levels too high for them ⌠And of course⌠Waste the time of 4 people.
That has been my experience so far with the 1 button macro âŚ

Judge them by there performance not by the fact if they use the Obr.
You canât find out if they do before a DPS meter or misplays tell you they are bad anyways so why judge them solely on the fact if they use it?
If they are bad kick them if they perform to an acceptable degree with Obr who cares?

^^ I think the question should be: Why do you want to exclude people for using the one-button rotation (OBR)?
Consider a recent comment:
If itâs not causing a problem in standard content⌠Then why do some people want to turn into a problem? Why is there a sub section of players who not only want to find ways/reasons to exclude others from content⌠but also think its acceptable to harass and/bully other players for using an official in-game feature.
Why canât people just chill, vibe, and enjoy game⌠focus on your methods, rather than other players methods.

It turns out I was wrong about one thing. I thought the higher-end players probably didnât concern themselves with what the average player was doing, and assumed it was more âJohnny Awesomeâ types engaging in this behavior.
It really says a lot about how delicate peopleâs egos can be â even top mythic-level raiders feel the need to act superior and exclude players who are several brackets below them.

Itâs not full automation and 14s in the end of the season is pretty casual content, and in the mid season as well.
Casual is relative to the individual. Everything is easy once youâre good at it. Itâs the getting good that takes time and effort.

Tbf people are not differentiating sufficiently between someone running a +13 key and someone doing a +5 key. Different universes too. At +13 in pugs I do think people wanna know, especially with how prevalent boosting is. What if someone boosts to +13 and then uses OBR. There is definitely a key level, where using this is just asking to be carried, because if everyone used it, the damage potentially wouldnât be high enough to time the dungeon
Ive added 3 people already.
However. In my case, OBR is and has been a god send. Anyone is welcome to have my right arm for a few days and then complain about OBR.
Oh and just for added zest to your outrage.
