He plays with premade team using voice and the whole team plays around his CDs and buffs his damage. Look at the pulls they do. It is like they pull half of the instance and the healer keeps everyone alive. This will never happen in LFG Pug. I show what M+ damage is like for a random pug from LFG playing the spec that many consider currently “trolling” and some noobs even kick me because I’m not Fire LOL. Don’t compare my DPS to those top Fire mages in M+ compare it to other DPS in my group. I have played with 3.2k Ret palas and I can tell you they don’t do more DPS in total. Either the same or even less. So arcane is good for 20-21 random LFG pugging. It became much better after the rework.
Sounds like coping to me. He would still do 300-350k overall in that same pug as fire anyway lol. 3.2k? Players like Billy are 3.7k+ now lol.
I like it when someone gives an example with the numbers of top teams near the MDI levels, and educate others, with a 420/1300 RIO character.

I am not special, just like you. Except I can admit there are greater players out there playing mage class than me. You haven’t achieved any results either. DPS players can be dragged along to your rating by excellent tanks and healers anyway. Clear 9/9 mythic and achieve 3.5k m+ rating before downplaying others. You would get immediately removed from the group if you entered +29 key and you just can’t admit it.

I like Billy too but I don’t compare my preformance to his on a training dummy, even if we had the same gear, nevermind if I had nerf tanking and ellsmere healing, aswell as having blessing, PI and an Augvoker.
All the dude was saying is arcane is doing good damage in keys at his level, which is great to hear tbh.

Let’s start with the fact that I’m not even going to key 29 because I’m not interested, im playing for fun, its a game after all and not everyone a professional esport player or streamer.
But that dosent means that you have to be rude with ppl, just because the video they linked is dosent match the level of your beloved stream.

Just put your Billy Goat in a random 20 LFG pug without SP, AUG, skilled healer, and tank that does very big pulls, and his numbers will be 2-3 times less than what he shows with his team in 29 keys. I can also say there is nothing special about his numbers if you put any skilled Fire mage in such a team they will be able to show similar numbers. Arcane is good at the moment and can output decent dps regardless of the setup.
Those players don’t hang around is some 20’s. Their skill level allows them to be in 29’s and above unlike you. Keep coping hehe.

They don’t hang around 20 because they will show 2-3x less dps especially if the tank or healer is bad and they will probably leave as it will be not fun for them. There isn’t much skill needed to play at 29 Keys just a team and experience. For example, there are many skilled guys playing at lower keys who don’t have a premade team for pushing M+ keys nor they will get invited to higher-rated keys due to their lower RIO. If you put these guys in high-rated teams they will do fine. If you put Azunas in a noob team he will show nothing but if you put a skilled player into a high-rated team he will perform much better and show better numbers.
