Instead of doing BWL in 3 hours and wipe on Vael/Nefarian every week, making your loyal member feel bad, disband and join a better guilds that need more players and are already well managed.
There’s lot of guild that clear BWL sub-1 hours with very good players in it, but they are stuck with 37/38 players + some social that replace raiders, because it’s insanely hard to recrut new players in this “I WANT MY GUILD” era, they need you for AQ and Naxxramas, you can have an easy spot, especially if you are healer.
Disband, and let better guilds handle your members. Check Warcraftlogs, on mega-server there’s just to many guilds for the whole population.
Classic renew of population approach 0, new players goes on Retail, they don’t play Classic, all level 1-9 that you see in your server are either new bot created by chinese gold farmer or alt of someone that already play the game. There’s more players leaving than new players joining, especially because COVID-19 quarantine is now done in most country, and because lot of server are “locked” so new players can’t play with their friends, so please if you want to make a guilds, wait TBC with raid 10 and raid 25, it will be easier, but for Classic, we need to join our force.
It’ll happen when AQ rolls out, just like alot of guilds disbanded when BWL released. The baddies call it quits and the successful guilds soak up the good members.
To many? There are not even 10 guilds on the whole servers that raids at normal times like 21 or 21:30.
Instead is full of this people living with welfare or with they parents that wants to raid at 19:30 or 20.
There might also be people or guilds who don’t enjoy the min/max atmosphere of Classic like spending more time in collecting world buffs than in the actual raid and just want to have fun (yes, even if you wipe all the time). In Vanilla most guilds had a progression phase of several months and not many were able to clear AQ until TBC. Not everybody cares about clear speeds or parses, tbh in Vanilla I saw less problems with cleanses/decurses (in my raid we used to have a 100% cleanse/decurse rate) like in Classic where decursing/cleansing is mostly considered as “parse destroyer” where everybody hopes someone else does it while yourself can focus on healing/dps for the logs.
Maybe I have no interest in being in a ‘hardcore’ guild where people feel the need to blast through in an hour? I’m having fun with my guildies in BWL, even if it takes us two to two and a half hours, with a somewhat relaxed pace and banter. That’s why I play with them, not to maximise efficiency and minimise time spent with them. There’s nothing superior about either, it’s just different mindset and wishes. For now it works just fine, and I assume it works well enough for you too. Enjoy that, just like I do and respect those who prefer to play differently.
Consider this. Maybe… just maybe not everyone want to minmax the game, to push it to the limits and clear the raids asap? What if i spend 2 hours in raid instead of one if i enjoy it with ppl i like and i’ve been playing for a while? Important thing is to clear the content, doesnt matter how fast, if youre actually having fun.
If you have issue getting 40 ppl in a minmax mentality guild, maybe consider the fact ppl dont wanna play with you because of that mentality. I actually have opposite problem. We have 50+ ppl in raids and i have to rotate some.
I would say, that if people want to raid early to go to sleep at 22.00 to have the most healthy sleep, it’s more normal, than finishing raiding and going to sleep at 24.00
i finsh raid in classic at 24 and on retail at 00:30 or even 1 am if nedded, on morning shift i wake up at 6 am or 5:30 if i am the manger that week, never suffered of lack of sleep in 10 years of carrer.
And you are free to have your 5-6 hours of sleep, who cares. Just too much assumptions and judgement of other people lifestyles, which always a cancerous behavior.
