Anyway, itâs digressing far from the first point. The main reason was assuming âinsultingâ stereotypes about people, who just donât fit your preferred raiding time looks bad, try to stay away from it
True, but if youâve looked around youâll see that, even among guilds that raid on weekends, itâs hard to find one that raids any later than 7:30 or 8 PM CST.
Neither did I say so. What Iâm lamenting is this prevalence of guilds starting so damn early. Back when I played on Retail in 2006-08, guilds starting at 21 were a lot more common. Iâve not seen this many guilds starting early until I moved to pservers.
Now, thankfully itâs not as bad in Classic as it was on pservers (heck, on Lightâs Hope it was so bad that I ended up joining an Oceanian guild lol), but itâs still much worse than it was in Vanilla and TBC, tbh.
The hilarious part is that, back when I actually played in Vanilla, the raiding guild I was in started extremely late (22 or so, until 2-3 AM), and I couldnât play much with them because of school. I wish I could find a guild like that now^^
No idea tbh. But I know a lot of Brits who play on my server. Unfortunately they are used to eat dinner at 6 PM or so and go sleep at 9 PM (and, having lived in Britain for a few months myself, I still remember the trauma lol)
I donât really understand why every single guild tends to raid between 1800 and 2000. I would have thought that more people with responsibilities and âlife stuffâ would want to raid later, after theyâve done their responsibilities. E.g. if you put kids to bed by 8pm, then you can spend 2 hours playing a game in the evening from 9pm.
Brits go to bed at 9pm? Where on earth in the UK did you live? lol. Never heard such rubbish!
